- hello family😍 just this morning i took a work round and I actually love what i saw which i'd like to share. I saw a market where they are selling rams.
- Rams are big horn usually males, they are known for their curled horns, they are usually found in the forest but also can be domesticated, the female are the ewe.
In my locality whenever we start seeing this Animal around, it always shows that the muslims Sallah festival is around the corner, rams are majorly kept in the northern part of Nigeria and other animals like cattle.
The rams are brought from the north to the part of the country to be sold. People normally are happy seeing this animal around both young and old, just like a bull fight and sport bet, people place bets on rams fight too and thats why most of the time people buy the ones with large and curly horns just for fight.
People also came out in mass to buy, I priced some of them the prices are actually scary for now, the man told me that because of the economy that crashed due to COVID-19 that they find it difficult to keep and to move down from North. The particular one i held he said he sells that for #80,000 (Naira in Nigeria currency).
I also told the man i'd like to get the young ones (baby ram) so that i can keep them myself.
Some cows were also brought to be sold.
The thing is ram business is a very lucrative one, the dunks (faeces) are sold to farmers as well as manure,I'm looking forward to own my ram and start rearing as well.
Thank you for stopping by✍
Love you guys❣
