Look at me staring at my laptop, finding what to write. The more I try to think of what to write on, the blurrier everything looks. It's beginning to look like I won't write anything for today, but no, I refuse to break that streak. Something I have maintained since the beginning of the year cannot be broken now. Nah!
Sometimes, Sundays used to be simple for me, especially when I already had what to write and publish. Other days aren't always like this, since there are lots of options to choose from each community I belong to, but here I am, already scanning through different communities. There are actually prompts to write on, but the problem is that I don't have an idea how to begin with them.
I went to church today, and when the service ended, I waited a while to see my Reverend so I could share my testimony with him. Something happened to me last week that I couldn't keep the excitement to myself, but had to share with someone aside from my siblings and a friend. However, since other members were waiting to see him, I had to leave. The reason was that there was another meeting where all the youth were to meet by 2 pm for an association discussion, and, looking at the time, it was 1 pm, and I didn't want to attend at first. Besides, I was hungry. Not long after I got home, my phone rang, and it was my Reverend who had expected that I would wait to see him. I told him the reason I had to leave.
We talked, and then he expected me to show up at the youth meeting, which I had already been avoiding attending, but he said he would see me then. I had no choice but to quickly fix something to eat and leave for church again. Thank God it is not far from my house, else, no one would see me there again until the next program in the week.
Fortunately, the youth meeting turned out great as we did a random quiz competition, and it was fun learning about the Bible. I met with my Reverend and shared my testimony, and he felt happy and honoured that I could share such with him because he told me how some people wouldn't even try to share the good news with him, but only come when something is wrong, so he could pray for them.
We ended the youth meeting after two hours, and I left for home. On getting home, they brought the light. I prepared some yams and eggs and fell asleep. Hahaha.. what do you expect after such a good meal? Thank God for His provision. I woke up shortly after and here I am typing this random post for the day. I believe the rest of the week won't be like this, as I am fully prepared with lots of interesting prompts from communities starting from tomorrow. Let's see how it turns out.
