1. The fall
Ego was thinking aloud. What if it went and occupied the brain of the player? Of course, players are very smart and they will do their best and train a lot to be number one in their sport. Ego would make them forget their goals and finally, the player will fall and not be able to perform the best or outdo their best ever again.
Ego was looking for an opportunity and then one day, the player felt important because he had scored higher than the others. That feeling of elation and the sarcastic look at other players and he was done. Ego had crept in and locked the others out. Perseverance, humility and duty were denied entry.
The fall came soon after.

2. Discipline
He decided that his children would be disciplined well. The son was not given permission to buy whatever he wanted even if he had a good job. It looked ridiculous because the son was grown up and could have what he wished for but he did not want to disobey his parents.
Discipline had given way to abuse and the thirst to control.
3. Pure love
She had seen him every day and given him a smile. He smiled back and even flirted with her. She used to run to the window to watch him come back from work. Was this love? She did not know but she knew that watching him made her happy. She sported a silly smile always and the others noted it. They wished her well. One day, she rushed to the window after hearing him come and she saw him bringing his wife on the motorcycle. She was devastated and it took her days to recover.
Years later, she saw him, a haggard-looking family man.
