Drawing/illustration of Sleeping Kid

Hope you all are fine and having an awesome day

Huh, after a long time, I am back with my casual drawing. It is not so casual hehe there is a purpose for drawing this specific piece 😉

All thanks to HiveStockImages, I wasn't so energetic to draw something myself but than I checked StockImages blog (Challenge Blog) and check their given themes. So I decided to draw for "Sleep".

As for this blog, I am not putting it there because here I am going to share my working steps and will blog separately with different versions of my final piece.

Here is what I draw/illustrate today

Sleeping Kid

Software I used :

Adobe Illustrator 2019

Steps :

First I draw a rough sketch to have an idea, how will I start

After getting the idea, I start with bed
I took rectangular shape tool to draw it, cut the upper line and use Pen tool to curve that mattress.
Draw face shape and arm on that bed

After that, I worked on face, and gave it simple colors

Than I used STYLIZE color option for it and draw a background for it.

That's all what I did, you can check the first image of this blog as my final piece. And I will work and share different versions (including GIF) in my next blog at HiveStockImages community so anyone of you can put those images to your blog.
