Today, I am gonna talk about defensive Legendary Summoner MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE.MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE possesses a combo of unique abilities, envied by everyone in Splinterlands.

The Great Wizards’ Council decision to lock her in magical prison on the dark side of Mount Mox was right, as she was too powerful for the untamed splinterlands. But she escaped the prison with the help of Lord of Darkness and is mow wreaking havoc on Splinterlands.

Being the mistress of dark arts and eternal servant of Death Splinter, she gives all enemies ranged monsters -1 ranged attack and affliction effect. Also all friendly monsters gets the void ability.

When to Use

MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE is best suited for high mana battles(35+), since she eats 7 mana. Using MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE in low mana battle is not prudent, as it leaves you with less mana for the monsters.

How to Use

There are some adjustments that can greatly improve the lethality of MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE based teams.

Using monsters with Shield ability as tank because MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE gives the Void ability.
Use as many magic monsters as you like because the Void from MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE takes care of the Magic Reflect. e.g. FALLEN SPECTER.
No need to use dedicated affliction monsters.
Use Taunt ability monster to give your tanks and rest of the team extra relief.

There are some summoners, monsters and strategies that can improve your chances against `MIMOSA`.

Summoner

The choice of summoner is greatly dictated by Battle rule sets and Mana allowance.

Since you are more likely to encounter Mimosa in high mana battles, so try using your high mana monsters as well. The best summoner to use against NIGHTSHADE is Yodin Zaku or Mimosa herself. THE PEAKRIDER, PLADO EMBERSTORM, SELENIA SKY and DARIA DRAGONSCALE are also good options.
In low mana battles use your conventional rare monsters. Have to look at THIS BATTLE.

Monsters

Since MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE hampers the ranged and magic attack capabilities so it is best to use heavy melee attack monsters against her. Include Inspire ability monsters in your team to further enhance the melee attack.

Melee monsters with abilities like Enrage, Stun, Trample, Sneak, Reach, Blast, Retaliate, Piercing, Double Attack and Opportunity are best suited.
Don't bother using monsters with Heal or Triage ability because of the Affliction buff makes them less useful.

Strategies

Use high health tanks with Void and Shield that can survive long enough without healing.
Complement the tank with another heavy melee attack monsters as a backup and preferably with Reach ability.

Melee blast attacks gives best results against MIMOSA. Avoid Magic Blast attack because all enemy monsters have Void ability.

Since MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE based teams tends to use magic more bluntly, try including monster with Silence ability in your team. BORTUS summoner can also be used to give -1 magic buff.

Include, monsters with Affliction, Poison, Headwinds and Demoralize ability to further incapacitate the enemy.
Try using monster with Protect and Repair ability in your team, especially in Weak Magic and Lost Magic battle rule sets.

`Mimosa` Against The Other Two Legendary Summoners

`MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE` is a natural anti of the two untamed legendary summoners, `Yodin Zaku` and `CHANSEUS THE GREAT`.

`Yodin Zaku`

`MIMOSA` nullifies the +1 ranged attack by `Yodin Zaku` and also provides protection against magic blast attacks due to void ability.

`CHANSEUS THE GREAT`

The affliction negative buff by `MIMOSA` makes the Triage offered by `CHANSEUS THE GREAT` useless. Also the void allows for the magic based attacks without fear of Magic Reflect, leaving the Repair ability of CHANSEUS useless.
