Life is good once you are genuinely smiling 🥰
As we all know that life is full of numerous experiences and mysteries, the journey of life has never been easy, regardless of our individual status, whether rich, average, or poor. It is very natural that from birth till old age, we all dive into different dimensions.
Moreover, the journey of life continues to go on without stopping, not even for a bit. And that's one of the reasons why I believe that nothing is capable of ending anyone's happiness because it's your life, and you have the full right to decide what happens in it.
I am the kind of person who can easily get curious about anything that has to do with my existence and discovery. So, whenever these feelings and thoughts about living a happy life run through my head, they mostly remind me of the importance of living happily. And that makes me wonder how boring life is without happiness. Because each time I'm happy, I feel so complete in a way that nothing bothers my inner peace. Every one of my happy moments usually makes me feel like all my needs and desires are already fulfilled.
I once had bad times when I almost gave up on myself. I was gradually getting frustrated with myself due to the kind of life I was living. Everything about me felt as if my life kept recycling every blessed day. Back then, I had different categories of activities that I was made to go through. I was schooling and also trading at the same time, all in the same day. I would go to school and immediately school closed, I would then make myself available at the workplace to attend to customers. I did this for some years without living with my family or having time for friends. Instead, I lived with one of my uncles who is a trader of wine, cosmetics, and provisions.
Everything became hard for me because I needed time to study my books effectively and at the same time, more of my attention was also needed in the shop. So I started facing challenges in such a way that my brain functioned as if it was divided into two, one in school and the other in the shop. At the same time, my family wasn't close to me and I was unable to have good friends because my free time was very limited, and that made everything worse. All these experiences happened back then when I was still in secondary school.
I was hoping that everything would get better with time, but my expectations were wrong because I waited and waited, yet no change occurred. Then I decided to sit down and reflect on my life. I kept asking myself what life is all about without happiness, but I couldn't find a convincing answer. I had a roof over my head, clothes, and good food, but still, I noticed that something important was lacking in my life, and that was peace of mind and happiness. So, I tried hard to make everything balanced, but before I could achieve it, it took me a lot of time, patience, and understanding. I made the decision to acknowledge the fact that life most times doesn't happen according to our expectations and predictions. I know fully well that change is constant in life, and it can only happen gradually.
Many of my close friends and some family members gave me suggestions and advice. Some of this advice was helpful to me, so I promised myself to keep doing the things that I believe are right and never to overdo things beyond my capacity. It is very natural and common that we all have different mindsets, different behaviors, and different ways of making decisions. I believe that in terms of understanding life, peace of mind, and happiness, I need to accept the fact that everyone must not like me, just as I may not like everyone as well.
So, I believe a happy life is a healthy life, and it doesn't matter whether someone is poor, average, or rich. In every stage of life that we may find ourselves, happiness is needed because whatever we do in life is determined by our mind, and when our mind is affected, it will affect our happiness. Everyone deserves to be happy and has the full right to it. Happiness is free, and from my experience, I can say that it has to do with understanding who you are, what you want, and how you go about it.
