Hello Hello~~ I woke up a little late and started drawing a little late ^^ But I am still on a roll and I am still on my inktober streak so far UwU
Today is day 4 and the prompt says murky and the only thing I can think of when you say murky is water. So I was happy with this prompt because I got to paint a little and it has definitely been a while since I last got to paint with ink XD I even acquired mop brushes for this because I thought I lost my brush but apparently I just forgot it at home! Silly me!
Materials: Black ink, white chalk, white gel pen
Duration: 2.5 hours
In reality, I only ended up drawing that long because I had to wait for the ink to dry and it definitely took a while to dry even when I already had a mini fan directed at the paper I was using. I was also doing this while studying so I may ce forgotten to take a few snaps of my progress. I only did when I stopped so I could let the ink dry.
This was my first ink layer. inking usually takes a while to layer up because you have to build up that solidity until you're on solid ink. So with this mix, I had mostly water then a few drops of ink.
Then this was on about... Layer 3 and I was almost done but I was soooo distracted by the YouTube videos I was watching to improve my Korean speaking and vocabulary. At this point I had switched from the big mop brush to the little mop brush and I was trying to add in a bit of details already like the branches and the boats that were on dock. I had imagined it was a swamp in the foggy bogs XD
Then after letting it dry, I did a rough chalk layer then I used my white gel pen to give it a few more details. I am happy where this painting went ^^
And that concludes my day 4! I hope my day 5 won't be late like this one XD I need to wake up early or sle early cuz I want to maintain the current art schedule I have with myself
I see so much Zingtober h these days UwU I wanna join but I think I'm just going to work on the encircled prompts because I really want to do my inktober this year ^^
Let's see next year if I can really really do both cuz that would be an art block just waiting to happen for me XD and I'd be so dead the month after.
