This drawing holds a very special place in my heart.
It was the first time someone truly believed in my art enough to commission me. A good friend of mine asked me to create this portrait of him and his aunty — someone who means the world to him. From the moment I sketched the first lines I knew I had to give it everything.
Every stroke, every shade, every detail — I poured in hours, making sure I captured not just their likeness, but the warmth, love, and bond they share. The smile on his face when he saw the final piece made all the hard work worth it. That moment reminded me why I started drawing in the first place.
The second image is the completed and mounted version, and to be honest, I still look at it and feel proud. Not because it's perfect, but because it’s a symbol of growth, trust, and a big step forward in my journey as an artist.
