Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend.
Today I went to visit my mom who lives in a small village close to my city, the same village where I was born and where I lived my childhood. I lost my father around 4 years ago and my mom is 76 years old now, but fortunately she is in a very good health and she loves to do everything just by herself (she asked me help just if she needs to do something online because she doesn't know how to use a smartphone or if she have to do some documents). We use to call each other almost every day and I went to her home to some chats and to drink a coffee together. She has a lot of friends in the village and so everything is ok. ❤️
This morning, as usual, I woke up soon because the new small sculptures I made in the past month using the argilla clay were ready after the oven and so I wanted to paint them.
In the following pic you can see a couple of the new one I just finished:
As I wrote before, after the first oven the argilla clay become "terracotta" and I use to paint these kind of small (around 4 cm/1,5" tall) sculptures with my oil colors and, when they are dry I give them a stroke of Damar varnish.
As usual I took some pics while I was painting them so you can see the process too:
I hope you like them!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
