Art has always been about expression beyond words and this drawing is one of my most personal experiments, I focused only on the eyes because they carry stories that even a whole face sometimes fails to tell.
I wanted the look to feel interrupted just like the viewer is seeing through barriers or strips of light and shadow. The separation lines across the face aren’t just design elements , they could be but also they represent how we often hide behind walls with our eyes still revealing everything.
The work was done using charcoal and graphite balancing sharp lines with soft shading to bring out depth and realism, at some point it got tiring trying to get perfect with the proportions but later i got so engrossed that I forgot to take more progress shots.
For me this is not just a drawing but a study of patience and the silent language of the human spirit.
Thank you for supporting artists who keep experimenting with new ideas and pushing creative boundaries. Hive gives us not just a platform to share but a place where art is truly valued.
