Where Is a Children's Paradise?
Lately, whenever I see news reports of children
being involved in tragic incidents or accidents,
I find myself wishing there were a children's paradise.
I was bullied when I was little,
but my backyard was my own little paradise.
I could play there all by myself for as long as I wanted.

ここのところ子どもが痛ましい事件や事故に
遭うニュースを見るにつけ
子どもの楽園があってほしいと思う
私は小さい頃いじめられていたが
自宅の庭が小さな楽園だった
ひとりで好きなだけ遊んでいられた
