I know several places in the city that don't seem to be part of it. You don't hear the annoying noises of the streets, so you can only feel calm and at one with the elements of nature, something that for me is priceless.
Yesterday I escaped to one of these places with a friend.
The video is hidden on my channel, only those who have this link can see it.
The whole ride added 30 km to my bike rides this month.
I was super excited to be able to go there and had even thought about going a little further afield. He told me since Saturday that we would go riding as soon as he woke up on Sunday and that I would choose the route. Great!
When he picked me up at home I wasn't ready yet, but it really didn't take me long to get ready. In the process something happened...
My left eye became very red and swollen and we decided to go to the Ophthalmological Hospital first, to the emergency unit.
See?
I asked my friend to take this picture of me there in the hospital. The redness had stopped a bit but the inflammation inside my eyeball was still there.
I was quickly attended to and also diagnosed as having an eye infection caused by dandruff at the base of my eyelashes (something really nasty, which is not visible to the naked eye).
I got the medicines also very quickly from two pharmacies, put them in my backpack and informed my companion of my decision to continue cycling.
So when we arrived at our destination, my sick little eyes were able to see this too.
This is a view of the village we visited: Jaimanitas.
If you have already seen the video I shared above, then you already know that we went to the Hemingway Yacht Club.
There were few yachts in the canals. And I didn't really feel like taking pictures. I was a bit worried about that happening to my eyes and concentrated more on just feel.
🙃
We stayed there for a while, had a small picnic with chocolate chip cookies, peanuts and pizza.
And then we went back home and bought malt and condensed milk to have another picnic on my terrace. 😁
This photo was taken from Ave 25, at 5:02 pm.
One of the things I have been talking about with my friend is the amount of beautiful views we have in our city. I always keep an eye out for that. Yes, of course, my eyes are a great treasure, I know.
Thanks, Universe.
