Every day, I feel more and more ready to increase the mileage of my cycling trips; although my thighs ache a bit and I'm a bit exhausted now, there's intense energy inside me, which I sense must be joy. Have I been warned that this is addictive?
I think so.
Can I answer the question in the title of this post now?
Yay! - 馃槄 both.
Let me explain better.
I had been feeling a bit strange for a few days. It's not that I was feeling down in the dumps, because I worked on some projects and did my life normally; however, since last Wednesday I felt that something was missing. And today I knew that what was pulling me down was the lack of pedalling. So bless Monday and bless Tai Chi for getting me back in line with my training on wheels.

If you know me and have read any of my blogs, you are already familiar with my route on Mondays early in the morning. That starts with my Tai Chi practice and I ride my bike to the Cerro Pelado High Performance Training Centre. There I relax and free my mind of all worry and longing, I just want to connect with the present moment and my breath. I just want to feel all that energy around me and incorporate it into my body. In short, I experience happiness.
Cycling afterwards helps me to stay focused. And maybe you say... what is she talking about? Well, it's simple: I'm talking about consciously creating. Directing my thoughts towards productive things and accepting the fact that the life I want, I am already living. Then that happiness I was talking about is enhanced.
I didn't go straight home after Tai Chi. I went to a farmer's market. And since I never have in mind what I'm going to buy, even though I knew I needed something, because the fridge is the remake of the Ice Age, I decided on a mamey, a pineapple, about two pounds of sweet potato and a mango. {LOL}
Definitely, the fridge is still in its remake. 馃榿
I came home and had a snack. We snacked, I should say by Chanel and Yin, since my MTB Girl feeds off my energy. And I decided to do some work on the laptop. You know, let the creativity shine. But this didn't work out because someone who creates her reality mentally has decided to acquire something... something she had to go and evaluate before buying, of course.
And you know what? Let's leave that purchase that hasn't happened, although it might happen next weekend... I think I found the Zeta cyclotourism team and I'm very excited, so excited, that I came to tell you about it.
Guarapo! I think the guarapo has lowered the pressure on that one on the left, hahaha.... joke
Cyclists definitely love to drink sugarcane juice! These guys went crazy when they saw that sugarcane juice stand at 26 and 17. Vedado. Oh... yes, we reached the Vedado neighbourhood to see... what I needed to see. 馃槄 And I received some expert help on that issue.
4,69 km + 15.36 km 馃槣 (Let's add up!)
After the Guarapo, our stomachs needed pizza or something solid to keep these bodies pedalling. So I proposed to them to go to the Malec贸n, to find somewhere to eat there, and to see if I could take some photos too. The kids are very enthusiastic. I didn't have to insist.
The place chosen was the Torre贸n de la Chorrera (Malec贸n and 22nd Street, Vedado, Plaza de la Revoluci贸n, Havana) but they treated us so badly that I didn't even feel like taking pictures in there.
You can now see the faces of Yoyo-Batman and Asrael (those are their battle names) 馃槀/
So, what do we do now?
I can show you some photos that I took with the Panasonic Lumix before arriving, capturing scenes very close to the sea.
My MTB girl is powerful, yes. Since I met her, I was absolutely in love with her, but... Could there come a day when I decide to replace her? 馃樁
Who knows? Maybe yes and at the same time maybe not. Because there are things that look alike but are not the same or serve the same purpose...

Pizza! Time for pizza, we all said at the same time.
A cheap pizza that surprised me because it was crispy and thin, just how I like it. At that cafe on 12th and L铆nea, Vedado, we sat at some little tables and rested for a bit before heading back. Adding these kilometers to the account. 馃槃
4,69 km + 15.36 km + 9.78 km 馃檭
It's all a matter of time and willingness, right?
