July is the hottest month of the year in Beijing, and I feel outside is so hot with extreme heat wave that becomes severe with lower humidity which is more uncomfortable for me comparing to my home country, Bangladesh, where the weather is almost hot all around year. But it is comfortable there because the humidity level is higher in Bangladesh so people sweat a lot there but after sweating the feel ease and their body becomes cold internally, but in Beijing you will not sweat easily but you will feel the heat wave that will feel you burning to your face and to your sensitive parts where the sunlight falls directly.
In this extreme weather I don't go for my outdoor activities like cycling which I love to do but the extreme weather is not supportive for such activity unless is late in the afternoon. At the beginning of July, I went for a cycling session in a new part of the district where I have never visited as it is in the western area of the district but I used to visit the northern area for exploring the natural beauty if the district.
As the daytime temperature is too high with lower humidity, that feels like burning face in the sun, so I started my cycling in the afternoon after 4 pm when the temperature remains high but the severity of the sun starts getting lower. So, it was the good time for cyling and after 5 pm, it is more comfortable but it is not enough time to do a longer session as the sun sets after 7:30 in this area.
I have travelled the rural roads in the western direction where the another neighboring district Changping is located which ia also a natural scenic region of the Beijing municipal that is directly located in the nortehrn part of the beijing municipal. But I have not visited this district too much as I have visited the other district, Miyun, too much recently.
The surrounding natural scenic beauty is so attractive and as always, I found in the district. In this area the mountains are far but the green fields and the blue sky made the day a great day to enjoy the cycling session. I found the greenery of nature is much better after the frequent rain that the district has gone through recently. I can feel the new life everywhere in this area.
In conclusion, the views were fantastic and I love such area to explore these views in my outdoor activity while cycling in nature. There are more area to discover in this area and I will come to visit this region in the coming days soon.
