¿Cómo están el día de hoy? Yo muy bien y muy feliz por seguirles documentando mis salidas en bicicleta. Como ya comenté por aquí, últimamente tengo tiempo libre, por lo que pude permitirme salir con mi mejor amigo a una hora diferente a nuestra normalidad. Esta vez decidimos salir temprano por la mañana, aproximadamente a las 7am, para poder disfrutar de los senderos despejados y del buen clima del amanecer. Sin más, quiero contarles un poco de cómo nos fue.
How are you today? I'm very well and very happy to continue documenting my bike rides. As I already mentioned here, lately I have some free time, so I could afford to go out with my best friend at a different time than our normal. This time we decided to leave early in the morning, around 7am, so we could enjoy the clear trails and the good weather at dawn. Without further ado, I want to tell you a little bit about how it went.
Salida tempranera en bicicleta
Gracias a que teníamos un poco de tiempo libre, decidimos salir a esta hora, por lo que nos tuvimos que despertar aproximadamente a las 6:00 de la mañana. Terminamos saliendo relativamente a tiempo y la verdad es que el amanecer estaba muy lindo y nos estaba regalando una brisa única. Hasta ese momento todo iba realmente bien, ya que el comienzo de nuestro camino fue muy agradable y libre de cualquier problema.
Since we had some free time, we decided to leave at this time, so we had to wake up at approximately 6:00 in the morning. We ended up leaving relatively on time and the truth is that the sunrise was very beautiful and was giving us a unique breeze. Up to that point everything was going really well, as the beginning of our journey was very pleasant and free of any problems.
Las cosas se fueron complicando un poco mientras se iba haciendo un poco más tarde, ya que luego de varios días donde los amaneceres habían sido un poco oscuros, este fue muy soleado y empezó a hacer un clima muy fuerte para andar en bicicleta. Normalmente siempre hacemos el mismo proyecto por nuestra montaña favorita, pero en esta ocasión tuvimos que detenernos muchas veces ya que el calor era insoportable y nos daban muchos mareos.
Things got a little more complicated as it was getting a little later, because after several days where the sunrises had been a little dark, this one was very sunny and it started to be a very strong weather for cycling. Normally we always do the same project on our favorite mountain, but this time we had to stop many times as the heat was unbearable and we were getting very dizzy.
Cuando nos estamos acercando a la mitad del camino, donde ya nos sentíamos un poco mal, decidimos parar frente a una linda playa, la cual nos brindó un poco de frescura y calma, lo cual nos hacía mucha falta, ya que nos habíamos mareado mucho por el increíble calor y el sol que estaba haciendo. Esta playita estaba llena de rocas, pero la verdad nos sirvió mucho para refrescarnos y poder seguir el camino.
When we were approaching the halfway point, where we were already feeling a bit sick, we decided to stop in front of a beautiful beach, which gave us a bit of freshness and calm, which we needed, as we had become very dizzy due to the incredible heat and the sun. This little beach was full of rocks, but the truth is that it was very useful to refresh ourselves and be able to continue on our way.
Tengo que decir que normalmente yo siempre me pongo protector solar, pero en esta ocasión se me olvidó y la verdad fue el día que más lo necesité, ya que me terminé quemando mucho la piel, lo que me causó mucho dolor. El sol estaba totalmente insoportable.
I have to say that normally I always wear sunscreen, but on this occasion I forgot and it was the day I needed it the most, since I ended up burning my skin a lot, which caused me a lot of pain. The sun was totally unbearable.
Hablando un poco más del trayecto, logramos completar nuestro trayecto normal, que es de unos cuantos kilómetros, y logramos hacer la subida y bajada de la montaña, lo cual nos puso muy contentos, tomando en cuenta las condiciones externas que nos estaban tratando de detener. Aún así, esta es una salida para recordar, ya que nos dejó una linda enseñanza de que debemos tener mucho cuidado si salimos temprano. Había momentos donde no sabíamos si completaríamos nuestra ruta.
Talking a bit more about the ride, we managed to complete our normal ride, which is a few kilometers, and we made it up and down the mountain, which made us very happy, taking into account the external conditions that were trying to stop us. Still, this is a ride to remember, as it taught us a nice lesson that we should be very careful if we go out early. There were times when we didn't know if we would complete our route.
