On the 27th day of April 1740, the family of the Michaelson's were blessed with a beautiful twin of a boy and a girl. They were named Daniel and Daniella. They grew up doing everything together.
As twins, they would always have slight quarrels and arguments about who is older. One day they were asked to share 5 oranges and it led to a serious quarrel.
"Daniel we have each gotten two oranges, what do we do about the remaining one?"
"I'm a boy and you are a girl, so I'll take the remaining orange"
"I wouldn't let you cheat me on this, rather we would divide the remainder into two equal parts."
"There's no need for that, plus I'm probably older than you."
The argument went on for A while, almost led to a fight, until their mother came into the scene.
"What are you both dragging this time around?"
"Mum, between Daniel And I, who is older?"
"You both are twins, nobody is older."
"Mom that's not totally true," Daniel Retorted "One Person Must Have Come Out first"
"Actually Daniel came out first, so you could say that he is the senior by a couple minutes."
That was what Daniel wanted to hear all along. From that day onwards, they never dragged anything, Daniella would always submit to Daniel As The Older Twin.
After acquiring their Bachelor's degree, Daniel Went Into politics while Daniella decided to further her education. She pursued a ph.D in psychology and logic. She had so much passion for acquiring knowledge and discovering the mysteries of life. She eventually traveled outside the country to further her studies. Daniel on the other hand derived great joy in acquiring power and authority over people.
Several years later, Daniel Kept Climbing the chain of leadership until he finally became the president of the country. It was an era where democracy didn't exist. You can simply become president if you have enough power to overthrow the sitting president. The reign of Daniel Michaelson Could Be described as the reign of a tyrant. He acquired so much power before becoming the president and no one dared to challenge his authority. He would impose high tax on his citizens and claim rights any land he wanted.
Daniella returned to the country to realize that her brother was the president. At first she was really happy for him and actually went to pay him a congratulatory visit. When she learned of how he ruled the people she felt really bad. She paid him a second visit to try and reason with him, but Daniel shunned her, warning her never to try and oppose his authority.
Daniela being a very learned person knew the value of human life and could never stand by and watch human beings treated as animals. She started an uprising, a movement to make people wake up from their slumber and speak up.
Daniella came to realize that the people have always wanted to speak up, but they weren't bold enough and they were probably waiting for someone to make the first move. She was that someone, she had no fear for her brother. She was determined to impeach him. After trying several ways to try and shut her up, Daniel Realized That His Sister Was Out For His Head. He immediately ordered for her arrest and charged her for treason.
Daniella totally saw this coming, she already made plans ahead of how she was going to get herself out of prison. While in prison, she became more popular and gained much more supporters within and outside the country. She knew that the country's justice system was corrupted and controlled by his brother, therefore she contacted lawyers and lawmakers from outside the country. With the intervention of the foreign lawyers, in no time she was out of prison. At first Daniella never wanted to be the president, but while in prison she realized that no one else was bold enough to take the sit from his brother.
Daniel realized that his sister was very close to taking his power away from him.
"Over my dead body will I let MY SISTER, AN INFERIOR, A GIRL WHOM I SENIOR TO DRAG POWER WITH ME"
In that anger, he plotted to have his sister killed. Daniella, always being one step ahead left the country and was out of his brother's reach. During her travels, she was seeking knowledge on how to introduce democracy into her country. Her movement got the attention of the world powers and they sent delegates to intervene into the matter.
With the intervention of the world powers, Daniel Was Feeling Less Powerful By The Minute. With time democracy was instituted in the country. The first election the country ever held was between Daniel And Daniella. The election was free and fair, Daniella emerged as the winner and became president of the country. Her advisors told her to have Daniel Arrested, but in her wisdom she granted him a national pardon.
Daniel has always hated being powerless. He believed power was all about having Authority over people and having people at your beck and call. He never saw knowledge as power. Out of shame, he committed suicide because he would rather be dead than powerless.
