We all have different meanings to give when it comes to money and as interesting as it is, money is everything to many people. They believe once they set their eyes on money, their problems will end. Of course, it is the truth because we all believe that "Money answers all things". What do you want to do with money that you haven't done with it?
We use money to buy food
We use money to pay for services
We use money to settle debt
We use money to travel to our desired places
We use money to survive etc
Before I continue, let's talk a little about "Independence" since that is my own understanding about money.
Independence means to be independent. This means not relying or depending on someone. Independence is to have freedom, to do whatever we want. The best thing that could happen to a person is to be free on his or her own without depending on anyone for survival.
We all want money and when it comes, we want to go places, we want to do what we couldn't do when there was no money. We want to be free, and not have to depend on another person.
Money changes everything in a person and one would have to do things to earn this money. Money takes away poverty and stops every nonsense in our lives. What do I mean by Nonsense? There are things many people do just to get money and it's so bad to be in such a condition. Have you ever bowed or kneel to someone younger than you just because you want to collect money from them?
Have you ever done something to the extent that you are disrespected by a younger person, but you had to endure it, all because of money? Money can bring a person's integrity to a halt just in the quest of holding it in their hands to do whatever they want to do.
With money, you can eat whatever you want to eat, do whatever you want to do, take the course you have been delaying because of lack of money etc
Money will make you stay independent and survive without waiting for someone to give you a little penny.
When you have money in your hand, especially one that was earned illegally, you wonder how you spent it, as it finishes immediately before you know it. Many people lack the understanding of how to use money to make more money. We want to keep spending, not having an idea of how to double what we have. It's a pity many lack financial ways to earn more money.
When money gets into your hand, you can decide if you want to keep being independent and never to return back to how you were.
So also, there are those who keeps spending as they earn. This is why I said money is a spirit because as you continue to spend especially on things you do not need, it finishes before you even open your eyes. Money should be spent wisely and also learn how to invest to make more money so our wealth and independence would last for a long period of time.
I also feel bad to the extent people can go to make money. Everyone wants to make money and be on their own without anyone controlling them, but they have used their longing to destroy lives. Many are involved in ritual killings, scams and cheating to get this money, but I would be happy to say that these methods of acquiring money can never last and you would be at the losing end even though you have enjoyed it for a while.
Money is the root of evil especially when you crave for more money in the wrong way. You do things you aren't supposed to do. The money can lead to your untimely death. Money is good to have, but when we acquire it through good means, and make use of the money wisely by investing and saving, we will always live freely and do whatever we want anytime.
There are ways we can earn money especially online instead of duping and scamming others of their hard earned money.
I read @Kenechukwu97 post that talks about "It's time to show people the real way and place to make internet money" which you can find the post by clicking the above title. I love the part where he says;
In this hunt for money and wealth as a whole, it's important to note that those that already have what you may call 'enough money' are still out there exploring more ways to increase their net worth. They talk money and they try to understand the language of money so that in everything they do, they will have a chance of earning from it. It's always about the money. When the money comes, they start thinking of more money.
We all do want more money but in the case where we aren't doing anything to increase our net worth, we would be deceiving ourselves to think the money will not be exhausted because the more money we have, the more we crave and desire many things. So, it is not a bad idea at all to have the need to increase your money and keep investing more and more. This can only be done when you understand the language of money and how to earn more because no teacher or lecturer would include that in their syllabus.
