The months of September-November are the beautiful months to see the green landscapes in South Australia. A long wait for the next year, took a stride for the country drive to view such landscapes. During this time, wheat harvesting also brings alluring views. It was an hour drive South to Adelaide, and the wheat hay rolls were all over the field. These rolls remind me of Microsoft Wallpaper, and the landscapes as well and I find it nostalgic to all the memories that go with the screen. But the travel makes it right in front of the eyes. The weather was playing hide and seek with the sun, a cloudy day but a bright one to keep the greenery in the backdrop alive. The vineyard on the backdrop has turned green the wheat has turned yellow. South Australia is one of the popular destinations for wineries. The beautiful vineyard on the hills and the yellow textured wheat farm, provide the best view in November.
Nature plays its cycle, and farmers are putting in their hard work in different ways. Its beautiful.
The green pastures on the hill were still reflecting upon the views. While you drive the highway through the farms, these circular hay plays ping pong to your car's side screen; Popping in a 80-100km speed. You take a stop at any of the petrol stations, oh, these field views are right in front of your eyes. It takes you a realization that the peace and mud smell is not far from the city. This reminds me of back home. What a time!
These rolls are easy to move and cover less space and manpower. So, from an agricultural point of view as well this was meant to be kept like that on purpose. A purpose indeed beautiful. It was a good whole day drive, and getting rest with these views was worth waiting for the next year now.
