It's Not About The Gear - Episode 15

About five years ago I decided to start doing my own podcast. I was inspired by various shows that were about guitar, but I wanted to try and focus more on making music than just obsessing about the gear we use. The release schedule has been somewhat erratic and it has been nearly a year since the last episode. That was put on Hive account@dsound, but it seems you cannot access tracks there any more. I have put it on Soundcloud in case anyone wants to catch up.

I have just recorded episode 15 for your listening pleasure. This is also on Podomatic. I need to check if I can have them all on there with the free plan.

This episode covers some of what I have been doing over the last year, but it mainly about my debut album (free download) that I put out last month. I wanted to talk a bit about how I did it and I have included some tracks in the show.

The show was recorded using Audacity on Ubuntu Studio with an MXL 990 microphone plugged into an M-Audio FastTrack Pro interface.
