What's up, Hive frens! It's Abby.
Now, sit still as I bring you with me, down to a memory lane!
I don't usually go and explore the central cities, but on the 29th day of December, two years ago, I had this one special memory with my cousin, my sister and her boyfriend, going together to SM Consolacion.
Christmas day had passed, but the spirit was still there filling every corner of the mall. Different colors of Christmas ornaments, lights, and other things that reminds us of Christmas 🎄.
One of the main attraction of the mall is the giant Christmas tree standing tall at the center. A perfect place for the taking photos.
Another one that caught my attention was the fairy LED lights all across the ceiling and the balls resembling the planets from the solar system.
We simply walked around the mall without any plans, took some photos with their lovely decorations, window-shopped a little bit, and moved around from one store to another. My older sister and his boyfriend got some couple rings, while my cousin and I teased the two of them.
We also stopped by at the National Bookstore as I suggested and looked around. I was planning to get some books, but to my disappointment, there's only a small section inside the store for books, and only a few of them are to my taste.
I spent hours walking around the store but ended up getting nothing, which I kind of regretted. I saw this book by Neil Gaiman where he talked about himself as a writer, and I had it in my online cart for a while, but I don't know why I hesitated in buying it in the store. I know I should have gotten it! The only things I got from the bookstore are these photos I had my cousin take for me.
It's already lunchtime, so we picked out a chain to eat. We went with "Mang Inasal" and ordered this family set with Java rice. We also got half and half of cheese and sour cream-flavored fries from Potato Corner outside. Sour cream is my fav one tehehe. How 'bout yours?
I was a bit hesitant to eat a lot due to the fear of what might happen if I travel back home stuffed with food 😖.
However, the meal looked so appetizing that I failed to control my appetite. I had my fill of good food, and afterwards we took a walk for a little bit to digest and headed right away to get some boba at "A Little Tea."
Now, hold up! I want you all to take a moment and appreciate these adorable little ornaments at the store screaming "WHITE CHRISTMAS."
Everything on the menu looked so good, but we decided to get the classic ones, and it was sooooo delicious, I'm telling you all.
I then had my companions take some photos of me in my fit.
We didn't take any longer and decided to head home since my mother has already been calling us to start heading home if we don't want to get caught by traffic on the way. The trip home was smoother and way better than the trip earlier. It was a fun experience and a lovely way to end the year.
