My pre-birthday self-indulgence days are still going strong. I'd been meaning to do some personal shopping since Christmas, but honestly, it was impossible to do it in a peaceful environment… the rushed Christmas Eve and Baby Jesus shopping all ended up being left until the last minute, and the lines were endless, so I postponed my personal shopping until next year.
This way, I enjoyed a quiet, calm city, even amidst the atmosphere of tension and anxiety due to recent events, but ready to carry on with daily life because that's what we must do, and citizens have to continue with their daily routines.
Some stores still have their shutters closed from last year, but I managed to find several open with good promotions. I don't know if they're the same offers as last year, but I was able to take advantage of them.
Honestly, I hadn't treated myself since Mother's Day and my birthday in 2025. Sometimes we neglect ourselves a bit because everything is focused on food, health, and services, and we don't update our wardrobes or give ourselves a little pampering.
Shopping is also relaxing, and I was able to save the cash gifts I received for Christmas to do this shopping, so this time I didn't hold back. I used it all until it was gone… without remorse.
I found some great deals on underwear, and of course, I bought a lot of pairs of socks because I'm a fan of wearing them, sleeping in them, and they're essential for working out too.
I found my workout clothes at a store that has 3 for the price of 2 or 3 for a certain price promotions, and that's how I ended up buying a lot of leggings and athletic shirts. I have enough workout shoes, so a few days ago I bought some sneakers I'd been wanting for a while. And of course, I couldn't forget my slippers for this year—they're so comfortable at home and when I get up every morning.

Mis días de auto-regaloneo pre cumpleaños, siguen activos. Desde navidad tenía pendiente salir a hacer compras personales, pero sinceramente fue imposible lograrlo en un ambiente tranquilo… simplemente las compras apresuradas del Niño Jesús y la nochebuena, fueron dejadas para el último día, y las colas eran interminables, por lo que pospuse mis compras personales para el siguiente año.
De esta manera disfruté de una ciudad tranquila, calmada, aún en medio de la atmósfera de tensión y ansiedad por los últimos acontecimientos, pero dispuesta a seguir adelante con el día a día porque es el deber ser, y los ciudadanos tienen que seguir en sus labores cotidianas.
Algunas tiendas todavía se han mantenido con las Santamarías cerradas desde el año pasado, pero pude conseguir varias abiertas y con buenas promociones. No sé si son las mismas ofertas del año anterior, pero pude aprovecharlas.
Sinceramente no me regaloneaba desde el día de las madres y mi cumpleaños del 2025, a veces nos descuidamos un poco con nuestro consentimiento personal porque todo se concentra en los alimentos, la salud, y los servicios, y no renovamos el closet ni nos damos un cariñito.
Ir de compras también resulta algo relajante, y yo pude guardar los regalos en efectivo que me hicieron en navidad para hacer estas compras, así que esta vez no medí los gastos, lo usé hasta que se acabó… sin remordimiento.
Conseguí buenas ofertas en ropa íntima, y por supuesto, compré muchos pares de medias porque yo soy fan de andar en medias, dormir con medias, y para entrenar también son esenciales.
La ropa para entrenar la encontré en una tienda que tiene promociones de 3 por el precio de 2, o 3 por tal precio, y así terminé adquiriendo muchos leggins y franelas deportivas. Zapatos de entrenar tengo suficientes, así que compré días atrás unos deportivos que hace tiempo deseaba. Y no podían faltar mis pantuflas de este año, que son la comodidad para estar en la casa, y levantarme cada mañana.
De esa manera culminé mis primeras compras pre cumpleaños, con algunas cositas que quedaron pendientes pero que ya tengo puntualizadas para la segunda compra. Gracias a todos por visitar mi blog, que tengan un bonito día.
