Hello, hello internet people! How are you? Yesterday I was walking around a good part of the Sambil shopping center in Valencia while I was working, because, for those who don't know, for some time now I've been working as a nanny for a five-month-old baby and it's a somewhat new experience for me since previously, when I lived in Colombia, I was a nanny for an even younger baby, but every experience with every child is different.
¡Hola, Hola gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Ayer estuve recorriendo buena parte del centro comercial Sambil en Valencia mientras trabajaba, ya que, para los que no lo sepan, desde hace un tiempo para acá yo trabajo como niñera de un bebé de cinco meses de edad y es una experiencia un poco nueva para mi ya que anteriormente mientras viví en Colombia yo fui niñera de una bebé incluso más pequeña, pero cada experiencia con cada niño es diferente.
My bosses are really nice people. In fact, one of them is my former neighbor and lifelong schoolmate (we went to elementary and high school together, and we rode the same school bus to and from school). But because we had very different tastes and interests, we'd never been friends until now. Anyway, my friend and her husband were enjoying some quality time together watching a movie at the theater, while little Julian and I were wandering around the mall looking for something to do. However, since it was already late and nighttime, it didn't seem like there were many options.
Mis jefes son súper buenas personas , de hecho se trata de mi ex vecina y compañera del colegio de toda la vida (ambas estudiamos juntas en la primaria y en la secundaria, nos íbamos y regresábamos del colegio en el mismo transporte escolar) pero en realidad debido a que teníamos gustos e intereses muy diferentes, nunca antes hasta ahora habíamos sido amigas. En fin, el caso es que mi amiga y su esposo estaban dándose un merecido tiempo juntos viendo una película en el cine mientras que el pequeño Julián y yo nos dedicábamos a recorrer el centro comercial en busca de algo para hacer, sin embargo como ya era de noche y un poco tarde parecía que no habían demasiadas opciones.
It was cold, and although we were both bundled up and Julián looked fine (I'd already given him his bottle and changed his diaper), I wanted to get something to eat to warm up, and that's when I found this gem, Anella Café, a coffee shop I really like. I've been there a few times, but to other locations. I didn't know there was one in Sambil, so I ordered a coffee (Vanilla Latte) and a Red Velvet cookie. Julián didn't want any since he'd just eaten.
Hacía frío y aunque ambos estábamos muy bien abrigados y Julián se veía muy bien, (ya le había dado su biberón y le cambié el pañal) yo quería conseguir algo para merendar y entrar en calor, y fue entonces cuando encontré esta joya, Anella Café una cafetería que me gusta mucho, he ido algunas veces pero a otras sedes, no sabía que había una en el Sambil, así que me pedí un café (Latte Vainilla) y una galleta de Red Velvet. Julián no quería ya que acababa de comer.
After warming up and enjoying that delicious snack, we continued our tour of the mall and found something wonderful! Ahhhhhhh! 😃 Something I love, an arcade, yes, one of those places where you can spend all day playing video games and doing really fun things (don't judge me, hehe, I'm a gamer, so I really enjoy these things). I used to go a lot to one of these arcades called Yamile's Family Center, which was in the Metropolis Shopping Center in Valencia (Venezuela), but over time that arcade closed its doors.
Después de entrar en calor y de degustar esa deliciosa merienda continuamos el recorrido por el centro comercial y encontramos algo maravilloso ¡Ahhhhhhh! 😃 Algo que me encanta, un Arcade, sí uno de esos sitios donde puedes pasar todo el día jugando video juegos y haciendo cosas muy divertidas (no me juzguen jeje soy gamer, así que disfruto mucho de estas cosas) Antes yo iba mucho a uno de estos Arcade que se llamaban Yamile´s Family Center que estaban en el Centro Comercial Metrópolis en Valencia (Venezuela) pero con el pasar del tiempo ese Arcade cerró sus puertas.
I also found a shop that looks very interesting, as it sells antiques and gifts (I would like to go back another time much earlier when the shop is open, to have a more detailed look) It's called The Smoker's Emporium As for the Arcade, I plan to return with my sister, my cousins, or my friends.
También conseguí una tienda que se ve muy interesante, ya que es de antigüedades y regalos (me gustaría ir en otra ocasión mucho más temprano cuando la tienda este abierta, para ir a curiosear más detalladamente) Se llama El Emporio del Fumador en cuanto al Arcade pienso regresar también junto a mi hermana, mis primos o mis amigos.
