...and I started my day with this colorful plate. To be honest, that's just what I took a photo of and then I ate a few more portions like that. 😁 Fried zucchini in eggs and breadcrumbs, mashed potatoes, a salad of radicchio, endive and lamb's lettuce (hmm, interesting name in English, I had no idea until I translated it just now) with some olive oil on top. Radicchio has a slightly bitter taste, I don't know if you've tried it or like it, but it's really interesting. (:
I did a few small household chores, put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher, hung the laundry to dry, and so on... and then waited for my fiancé to come back from work. After that, we went to Belgrade so I could pick up my medication and collect the results of the head MRI I had done a few days ago. Thank God, there are no new lesions compared to the previous scans. Then we went to the Temple of Saint Sava (Saint Sava's Day was the day before), which is right near the clinic where I get my therapy, to thank God and pray for the health of all of us and then we continued our walk. We went to the city center because I was really, really craving roasted chestnuts from a street stand. That's something I will always associate with winter. Winter equals roasted chestnuts equals looove!

While I was patiently peeling the hot chestnuts as we walked through Knez Mihailova Street, I found myself stopping at every shop window that had these little interesting things… lucky for my fiancé that I don't get stuck on expensive clothes and shoes. And I wouldn't even buy these cute little items, I just like to look at them and take photos, click click click. 😍
The evening was nice until a stronger wind started blowing, so we quickly headed back toward Bulevar to pick up this little lady. Actually, since we were already there, we agreed with my sister-in-law to stop by for a coffee and pick up the dog so we could take her to the countryside to stay with us for a few days, until she gets back from Tenerife. Tenerife, hmm, I even had to google that. And I thought geography was my strong side. xD At first, I thought the Canaries were somewhere near America. (:
Oh, and while we're at knowledge, or rather lack of it, we also stopped by a bookstore, where I of course only look at interesting covers and the board games section. I also got stuck on the book Under the Dome by Stephen King, but it was in Serbian, so I didn't want to get it, I wanted to read the original edition. Nooo, who am I kidding that I would actually read all those pages when I've already watched the series. So for me, picture books are ideal, sometimes comics and of course POETRY, that always works. ❤️

We had a coffee, got into the car and headed home, when the rumbling in our stomachs started. And what does a person from the countryside do when they come to the capital once a month if not treat themselves to McDonald's.
Ironyyy, or maybe not, but there we were. xD
And of course I took photos too, because why would you eat something that hasn't been photographed first? xD
It has to be checked by the camera first before it goes into the mouth to delight the taste buds.
I know, I know, it's not the smartest idea and we're not even huge fans of Mek, but oh well.
In our defense, I'm also posting a screenshot of yesterday's pedometer, so we had already made room for a pile of unnecessary calories.
Thank you for reading my rambling, I'll be back again in a few days with the new one. Greetings to everyone! 😍
