Hope you are doing well in these rainy days.
Today, I'd like to share a part of my weekend getaway with my family.
After heavy rains overnight, we woke up early in the morning and decided to go to the sea by the port for a swim. Kids are so excited to be there and can't wait for it.
How about you Hivers,Is there a beach near your place? Do you usually go there? What can we see there? By the way, we live near the port. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes by motorcycle to get there.
The ship's destination is from here in Dipolog City, going to Dumaguete City and Cebu. In this picture, the ship has arrived and is docking over there.
There is a place here also where people can take a walk,go jogging, go fishing, or hang out with friends.
This time, as you can see, the weather is cloudy and I think it's going to rain. If you look at the water in the sea, it's calm and clear.
It seems like it didn't rain for the whole night. You can really appreciate everything that you see. Look at those clouds over there. They are thick and huge. The clouds seem so near to the water. What a wonderful world!
That's why a lot of people were here to enjoy splashing, swimming, and playing.
When I looked around the place, there were boats elevated and transferred to other places. Maybe because of the typhoon, they have kept it from being chased by the water or being drowned.
Actually, these boats are the fishermen's boats. It's their transportation to go to the deep blue sea and catch fish to sell in the market.
I was thinking, it is not easy to be a fisherman, especially when typhoons are usually in your area. In moments like this, I'm sure the fish or seafood is so expensive.
We usually go to the edge of this concrete road and go swimming there. But this time we chose to stay near the harbor.
Anytime we can go here, when we want to go swimming and enjoy the waves that come and go. Whenever lots of waves appear nearby, I would love to take a sit in the water and let the waves splash my back. It's a good feeling. I already got a free massage from the waves. Isn't it interesting?
My kids were making a sand castle, and whenever they build a sand castle, the water washes it away. They love to cover their body with sand, and they look so funny. It is like a strange kind of creature, but they are so cute.
