It’s our first time celebrating Valentine’s Day together, and we decided to keep it simple. We had breakfast at a nearby coffee shop before heading to my boyfriend’s best friend’s house for a barbecue party.
We woke up earlier than usual for our plan. I started getting ready even though the weather wasn’t very nice. There was no sun, and it was quite gloomy. However, we still got ourselves ready and went out. Since the café was close to our place, we decided to walk there and enjoy a little morning exercise as well.
It was a fun, chilly walk. I think it only took us about 10–15 minutes to get to the café. When we arrived, there weren’t many people yet, so we were lucky to choose the perfect seat for ourselves.
This is Café Sisili. This Café Shop is quite new with a very good location and perfect for some people who wanted to start their day with a good coffee and breakfast.
Then we checked the menu, and when we were ready, my boyfriend went to the counter to order while I stayed at our table and looked around the place. The café was very nice and cozy—clean and quiet too. There was just one guest who was speaking very loudly, but it was all good.
Then our food was served. It was an amazing full Italian-style breakfast with bread and different dips. We also ordered coffee. I chose a latte macchiato to try, and my boyfriend ordered a small Turkish coffee.
We then started eating and really enjoyed our food. The breakfast was very good and more than enough for both of us. After that, I tried my coffee. It was okay for me, but the taste wasn’t that amazing. Later, my boyfriend’s friend Christian joined us for a coffee as well.
It was a simple yet lovely celebration we had for Valentine’s Day. The time we spent together on this special day is all that matters. We don’t need anything big or loud, because for us, it’s the thought that counts.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine’s Day with their loved ones. Whether single or in a relationship, it doesn’t matter—as long as you know how to love yourself, love will find you in God’s perfect time. Do not lose hope. As long as you live, there is hope.
I hope you enjoyed my story, and I hope to see you again on my next blog. Have a great day, lovely people!
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!! :)
