I thought I was tough and it wouldn't really get to me.. but then I heard the sobbing of my son in the other room as he finally let go and it sank in.. his best friend for many or his childhood year, who was there for him day in and day out without question.. who could ask for a more loyal friend.. always there to listen and just keep u company..

Man's Boy's Best Friend!

A family pet is always loved and friend to all, but during covid,
schools shut down, we were stuck at home.. Dobby was my son's 1 constant companion. (I bet Dobby really loved all the extra attention he got thanks to covid) Alex was always saying Dobby this, and Dobby that, and would constantly state that Dobby was the cutest!

We got Dobby about a 2 years before covid hit.

Of course, my kids loved him right away.

I thought his coloring was so pretty, especially the spot on the back of his neck..

I would always say that he's cute, but just a big poop machine that destroys furniture..

but all in all, it was awesome to see him so happily wagging his tail and greeting me each moning. In fact, one special moment I remember.. him slowly following me around, tail down, as if saying 'hey, how are u? I missed u' whenever I would slink out of my bedroom at the condo in PH. (this is when I got really sick before)

We had to leave him with my wife's sister, who lived in a nearby town in Philippines. She had 2 other dogs and Dobby lived on her porch mostly. He did actually GET PAID to be a stud! once.. he was 100% beagle and I guess someone else wanted his handsome genes for their puppies! :)

Way to go Dobby! You da Man Now!! :P

We got the terrible news last night. Dobby ran out of the front gate and got hit by a car.

You had a great life Dobby. It was cut too short, but in those few years, you made a huge impact to us. Now you can sleep..
