Hola queridos amigos de Hive, para mí es un gusto estar de nuevo con ustedes 🙋 mi nombre es Lelys y hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre mis actividades festivas de los últimos días.
En Venezuela solemos celebrar la Semana Santa, Vida, Pasión y Resurrección de Jesús. Somos uno de los países de América latina que aún conmemora dichas fechas. Realizamos actividades religiosas y familiares. Entre las religiosas están preparar la Cruz de Palma y asistir a las misas acostumbradas, organizar procesión del Nazareno entre otras.
Entre las tradiciones o costumbres familiares tenemos la elaboración del delicioso cuajao o tortilla de pescado. Esto lo realizamos ya que los días Jueves y Viernes Santo no se puede comer carnes rojas. En mi familia nos organizamos para prepararlo; mi hermana es la cheff, ella nos pasa la lista de ingredientes y ente todos los compramos. Luego ella con mucho esmero se encarga de realizarlo. Este año no hicimos cuajao sino tortilla. Te preguntarás si no es lo mismo, te diré que no. La tortilla suele ser cocinada en la sartén a la manera tradicional de cualquier tortilla, sin embargo el cuajao es como si hiciéramos una lasaña en la que la pasta se sustituye por huevos batidos, la carne por pescado y el queso por papas y plátano. Esta se cocina en el horno y queda muy deliciosa. Mi mamá es experta preparándola. Algunas personas le ponen queso rallado antes de hornear y otras no.
También acostumbramos a preparar dulces, conservas, turrones, majarete u otro dulce que nos guste. Mi hermana mayor se encarga de hacer el majarete, pero como no está con nosotros ahora mi hermana 
Luego de la Semana Santa le pedí a mi hermana que me hiciera una torta para comerla el día mi cumpleaños que fue el 8 de Abril. Ella con gusto la realizó y también le quedó especial. Ese día me levanté muy temprano para comprar los ingredientes, salí y mi mayor sorpresa fue que todos los súpermercados estaban cerrados. Me comuniqué con ella y se ofreció a realizar una torta de coco, pero que luego yo le devolvía los ingredientes que había usado. Por supuesto que yo acepté y así hicimos.
No puedo quejarme, mi cumpleaños fue maravilloso, especialmente porque estuvimos juntos todos los que siempre estamos, a excepción de mi sobrina mayor porque no pudo asistir. Mi nieta Sofía estuvo muy feliz 😀 jugo, cantó, conversó y se metió conmigo en la hamaca.
Cantamos cumpleaños a las 6 de la tarde porque aquí oscurece muy temprano, mi nieta y su abuela debían irse caminando a su casa y yo también. Lo más importante es que disfrutamos mucho. Es mi cuarto cumpleaños desde que inicié en Hive, el tercero que les comparto.
Había elegido este día para estrenarme un dije muy lindo que compré, pero mi amigo ha estado muy enfermo y no me lo pudo enviar. Al tenerlo se los muestro y les cuento todo sobre ese regalo 🎁 que me hice. Saludos y abrazos.
Ah, lo olvidaba: de la tortilla y la torta traje para la casa y comimos al siguiente día. Con la ñema de los huevos que se usaron para torta hicimos un revoltillo para desayunar y quedó muy sabroso. ¡Es todo! 🤗

Hello dear friends of Hive, for me it's a pleasure to be with you again 🙋 my name is Lelys and today I want to tell you a little bit about my festive activities of the last days.
In Venezuela we usually celebrate Holy Week, Life, Passion and Resurrection of Jesus. We are one of the countries in Latin America that still commemorates these dates. We carry out religious and family activities. Among the religious ones are preparing the Palm Cross and attending the usual masses, organizing the procession of the Nazarene among others.
Among the family traditions or customs we have the elaboration of the delicious cuajao or fish omelet. We do this because on Holy Thursday and Good Friday we cannot eat red meat. In my family we organize ourselves to prepare it; my sister is the chef, she passes us the list of ingredients and we all buy them together. Then she takes care of making it with great care. This year we didn't make cuajao but tortilla. You may wonder if it is not the same, I will tell you that it is not. The tortilla is usually cooked in the pan in the traditional way of any omelet, however the cuajao is as if we were making a lasagna in which the pasta is replaced by beaten eggs, the meat by fish and cheese by potatoes and banana. This one is cooked in the oven and is very delicious. My mom is an expert in preparing it. Some people add grated cheese before baking and others do not.
We also use to prepare sweets, preserves, nougat, majarete or other sweets that we like. My older sister is in charge of making the majarete, but since she is not with us now my sister
After Easter I asked my sister to make me a cake to eat on my birthday, which was April 8. She gladly made it and it was also very special. That day I got up very early to buy the ingredients, I went out and my biggest surprise was that all the supermarkets were closed. I contacted her and she offered to make a coconut cake, but then I would return the ingredients I had used. Of course I accepted and so we did.
I can't complain, my birthday was wonderful, especially because all of us who are always together were there, except for my oldest niece because she couldn't attend. My granddaughter Sofia was very happy 😀 she juiced, sang, chatted and got into the hammock with me.
We sang birthdays at 6pm because it gets dark very early here, my granddaughter and her grandmother had to walk home and so did I. We had a great time. The most important thing is that we enjoyed ourselves very much. It is my fourth birthday since I started at Hive, the third one I share with you.
I had chosen this day to wear for the first time a very nice pendant I bought, but my friend has been very sick and couldn't send it to me. When I have it I will show it to you and tell you all about this gift 🎁 I made myself. Greetings and hugs.
Oh, I forgot: I brought some of the omelet and cake home and we ate it the next day. With the yolk from the eggs that were used for torta we made a scrambled eggs for breakfast and it was very tasty. that's all! 🤗
