Hi, everyone! This week, two girls came to me to have dresses made. They told me they have a 1950s-themed event coming up, sent me the design, and came in to get their measurements taken.
Hola hivers! Esta semana dos chicas me buscaron para hacerles un vestido, me dijerin que tienen un evento temático de los años 50, me mandaron el diseño y vieron a tomarse las medidas.
The fabric is this pretty blue color. At first, they had a hard time finding it because every time they went to the store, it was too late and they found it closed. Still, one day they finally managed to get it, and as soon as they had the fabric, I immediately started making the patterns.
La tela es de este bonito azul, al principio les costó conseguirla ya wue cada vez que iban a la tienda era muy tarde y lo encontraban cerrado, aún así por fin un día lo lograron y ya al tener la tela de inmediato comencé a hacer los patrones
I tailored these to fit each girl’s measurements; the top is lined and the skirt is flared. I’ve finished the basic structure and now I’m waiting for the girls to come in for their first fitting. If they fit well, all that’s left is to finish them up on the sewing machine.
Estos los adapte según las medidas de cada una, la parte de arriba va forrada y la falda es acampanada. Hice toda la estructura y ahora estoy esperando a que vengan las chicas a su primera prueba, si les queda bien solo falta cerrar todo con la máquina de coser.
