Bougainvilleas are easy to propagate especially on wet season. I simply cat a not so matured stem and plant it on a small can filled with Liam soil. After a week, new tiny leaves begin to grow.
My grandma has an array of varieties of bougainvilleas. They were living in Phillips, Del Monte in Mindanao when I was a little kid. The colors are captivating especially on summertime. Bukidnon has a nice weather like Baguio that's why flowers thrive. I asked here why do her bougainvilleas has an abundant flowers and she told me a little secret. I will just tell it to you in private message.🤩
My mother inherited my grandma's green thumb and all grandma's flowering plants were passed to my Mom. We even have Million Dollar flowers (hydrangea), dahlias, gladiola, roses, and African daisies. All of these flowers, my Mom have it in her garden in different colors. When there's a garden competition in the subdivision where we live, we always bagged the first prize.
