El evento se llevó a cabo en nuestra querida Catedral de la Asunción y posterior a la misa el acto se llevaría a cabo en el centro de artes Omar Carreño, pero para el acto si no estuve presente pues tenía otro comoromiso. Para la misa si estuve y fue un momento muy bonito, en un lugar cargado de significado para el Estado Nueva Esparta.
The event took place in our beloved Cathedral of the Assumption and after the mass the act would be held at the Omar Carreño Arts Center, but for the act I was not present because I had another commitment. For the mass I was there and it was a very nice moment, in a place full of meaning for the State of Nueva Esparta.
Allí se reunieron más de 120 jóvenes, rodeados de familias y amistades que han acompañado sus pasos. Ver a mi hijo compartiendo ese momento, lleno de admiración y afecto, me recordó que la grandeza también está en saber celebrar a los demás.
More than 120 young people gathered there, surrounded by families and friends who have accompanied them in their footsteps. Seeing my son sharing that moment, full of admiration and affection, reminded me that greatness also lies in knowing how to celebrate others.
Lo vi feliz, conversando, tomándose fotos, apoyando sin ser el protagonista, simplemente estando presente. Y esa presencia habla mucho del tipo de persona que es, alguien que sabe valorar los logros ajenos y aprender de ellos.
I saw him happy, talking, taking pictures, supporting without being the protagonist, just being present. And that presence speaks volumes about the kind of person he is, someone who knows how to value the achievements of others and learn from them.
Quiero agradecer especialmente a la profesora Cecilia, una mujer dedicada que estuvo allí como guía, como apoyo, como símbolo de compromiso. Su cariño hacia los estudiantes se notó hasta en los pequeños detalles que les entregó ese día. Santiago la adora, simplemente dice que sin su apoyo hoy no tendría las notas que tiene, ya que es con ella con quién Santiago refuerza todas las materias prácticas cada día, cuando tiene evaluaciones.
I would especially like to thank Professor Cecilia, a dedicated woman who was there as a guide, as a support, as a symbol of commitment. Her affection towards the students was noticeable even in the small details she gave them that day. Santiago adores her, he simply says that without her support he would not have the grades he has today, because it is with her that Santiago reinforces all the practical subjects every day, when he has evaluations.
Y yo le agradezco enormemente porque ella le hace más llevadera está carga y también gracias a ella Santiago puede ir a entrenar todos los días, sabiendo que primero reforzó todo el contenido visto en clases.

Antes de irme, recorrí la placita de la Asunción y tomé fotos que guardan ese instante para siempre. Qué afortunados somos de vivir en esta Isla de Margarita, en un lugar donde la belleza natural se une al espíritu humano que impulsa a los jóvenes a soñar.
Before leaving, I walked around the little square of La Asunción and took pictures that will keep that moment forever. How fortunate we are to live on Margarita Island, in a place where natural beauty meets the human spirit that drives young people to dream.
