Si hay un lugar donde la naturaleza te transmite paz y la vista te deja sin palabras, es sin duda Altos de Veracruz y esta fue mi experiencia visitando este maravilloso lugar.
If there is a place where nature transmits peace and the view leaves you speechless, it is undoubtedly Altos de Veracruz and this was my experience visiting this wonderful place.
Altos de Veracruz es un sitio turístico, ubicado en el pueblo de Sanare del Estado Lara en Venezuela, específicamente a una hora de Barquisimeto. El pueblo de Sanare tiene un toque de antaño, con calles tranquilas que tienen una increíble belleza natural y este lugar no era una excepción.
Al emprender nuestro viaje, lo maravilloso que pudimos observar fue como poco a poco nos adentrábamos más a la naturaleza, nuestros paisajes cada vez se llenaban más de colores vivos en donde el verde iba predominando y pintaba nuestro camino, bajaba su temperatura y se comenzaban a ver montañas y sentir un frío que refrescaba nuestra llegada, el cual nos hizo apagar el aire acondicionado del vehículo y disfrutar cada vez más de lo natural y único de este lugar.
Altos de Veracruz is a tourist site, located in the town of Sanare in the State of Lara in Venezuela, specifically one hour from Barquisimeto. The town of Sanare has a touch of yesteryear, with quiet streets that have an incredible natural beauty and this place was no exception.
As we embarked on our journey, the wonderful thing we could observe was how little by little we were getting deeper into nature, our landscapes were becoming more and more filled with vivid colors where green was predominating and painting our way, its temperature was dropping and we began to see mountains and feel a cold that refreshed our arrival, which made us turn off the air conditioning of the vehicle and enjoy more and more of the natural and unique of this place.
Al llegar a nuestro destino, lo primero que nos encontramos fue con el lobby un espacio moderno y rústico con una arquitectura de influencia alemana lo cual de inmediato capturó nuestra atención, eran dos pisos que combinaban una pared de piedras con grandes ventanales para lograr percibir una vista panorámica y así poder disfrutar del hermoso paisajes montañoso y natural que te regala esta experiencia.
La modernidad de este sitio fue increíble, lo cálido de este espacio es clave para sentirte en otro ambiente. El lobby lo atravesaba una bella laguna con muchos hermosos peces que le daban color al lugar, además este tenía una vista directa al cielo donde poco a poco se observaba un bello atardecer.
Las habitaciones hacían juego con el lobby, cálidas pero modernas lo cual hacían el complemento perfecto con la temperatura. Había una temperatura ente 18 y 20 grados, ideal si quieres escapar del calor (como nosotros).
Las flores, arbustos y árboles sin dudan creaban un mosaico de colores hermosos que te hacían perder la mirada en su belleza. Te hace recordar las maravillas de la naturaleza y lo grande y hermoso que es el mundo como para no agradecer a Dios por tan increíble paraíso que nos regaló.
Upon arriving at our destination, the first thing we found was the lobby, a modern and rustic space with a German influenced architecture which immediately captured our attention, it was two floors that combined a stone wall with large windows to get a panoramic view and enjoy the beautiful mountainous and natural landscape that gives you this experience.
The modernity of this place was incredible, the warmth of this space is key to feel in another environment. The lobby was crossed by a beautiful lagoon with many beautiful fish that gave color to the place, it also had a direct view of the sky where little by little a beautiful sunset could be observed.
The rooms matched the lobby, warm but modern which made the perfect complement to the temperature. The temperature was between 18 and 20 degrees, ideal if you want to escape the heat (like us).
The flowers, bushes and trees undoubtedly created a mosaic of beautiful colors that made you lose your eyes in their beauty. It reminds you of the wonders of nature and how big and beautiful the world is, how can we not thank God for such an incredible paradise he gave us.
Sin duda una de las cosas que quise aprovechar fue retratar momentos en este increíble lugar, aunque ninguna de las fotos le haga justicia a este paisaje, no perdí la oportunidad porque quiero recordar todo mi recorrido.
Este fue mi escape a la tranquilidad, mi viaje para desconectar de la ciudad y conectar conmigo misma y con la naturaleza para así respirar aire puro y poder disfrutar de todos los sonidos que me regaló la tranquilidad.
Mi sitio favorito para resaltar fue la laguna, sentía que transmitía una paz única y en la imagen puede observar el variante de verdes que crean un paisaje vivo y feliz. También quise mostrar las montañas, que daban vista al pueblo de Sanare, aunque también el cielo era protagonista de este bello horizonte, donde nos regalo unas nubes de dibujo y diferente matices de azules que refrescaban la vista.
Without a doubt one of the things I took advantage of was to take pictures of this incredible place, although none of the photos do justice to this landscape, I did not miss the opportunity because I want to remember my entire trip.
This was my escape to tranquility, my trip to disconnect from the city and connect with myself and nature to breathe fresh air and enjoy all the sounds that tranquility gave me.
My favorite place to highlight was the lagoon, I felt it transmitted a unique peace and in the image you can see the variation of greens that create a lively and happy landscape. I also wanted to show the mountains, which overlooked the town of Sanare, although the sky was also the protagonist of this beautiful horizon, where it gave us a drawing clouds and different shades of blue that refreshed the view.
Poco a poco al llegar la noche, fuimos observando como ahora las protagonistas de este increíble paisaje eran las luces, las cuales le daban un tono cálido a las vistas. El sol se ocultaba y se veía el cielo pintado de muchos colores, al anochecer las luces daban vida a toda la estructura.
Llegada la hora de la cena nos dirigimos al restaurante el cual tenía como nombre “Yagrumo” nombre de un árbol tropical comúnmente visto en Venezuela, se le otorgó este título al restaurante debido a la conexión con la naturaleza local y el ambiente fresco.
En la cena disfrutamos de un increíble talento en vivo, donde las baladas románticas fueron protagonistas de nuestra velada, con un clima invernal y luces cálidas, el ambiente poco a poco se tornó romántico y conmovedor.
Little by little as the night came, we observed how the lights were now the protagonists of this incredible landscape, which gave a warm tone to the views. The sun was setting and the sky was painted in many colors, at nightfall the lights gave life to the whole structure.
When it was time for dinner we headed to the restaurant which was named "Yagrumo" after a tropical tree commonly seen in Venezuela, this title was given to the restaurant because of the connection with the local nature and the fresh atmosphere.
At dinner we enjoyed an incredible live talent, where romantic ballads were the protagonists of our evening, with a winter weather and warm lights, the atmosphere gradually became romantic and touching.
Visitar altos de Veracruz fue una experiencia mágica, fue combinar la paz y la naturaleza, me regaló momentos de tranquilidad que emanaban sus paisajes donde el silencio fue la melodía principal que calmó mi mente y ansiedad, pues te invita a enamorarte de la simplicidad y majestuosidad del mundo natural.

Visiting altos de Veracruz was a magical experience, it was a combination of peace and nature, it gave me moments of tranquility that emanated from its landscapes where silence was the main melody that calmed my mind and anxiety, it invites you to fall in love with the simplicity and majesty of the natural world.
