Hello my dear Hivers of the community. I hope you're all well and safe.
Yesterday, the provincial government of Agusan del Sur declared that face-to-face classes be suspended until further notice due to the risk of earthquake and its aftershocks.
As there will be no face-to-face classes we have to do something to keep the learning of our students, we are to shift to the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). This is the mechanism of the department whenever there are emergencies or calamities happening.
So earlier today we went to the school and prepared activity sheets and modules.
After printing we immediately gave it to our learners. Some were not able to come, so what I did is gave their modules to the learners near their house. Some were neighbors so I just ask them to give it to their classmates.
My co-teachers on the other hand, went extra in their efforts to distribute the modules and learning activity sheets. They rode their motorcycle and had the learning materials delivered to the houses of their students.
All efforts, despite the risk of another earthquake is exerted just to not cut the learning of the children.
Also while I entered my classroom, I saw the books I arranged fell down. Good thing it's the only thing that fell, other things were still and intact.
That would be all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
