Today I thought we were not going to be able to go hiking. My nephew had a busy day and it wasn't until 6:30 that he was free from the office.
This time we Lost a hiker, but gained another one: My nephew's wife (who also had a recent medical checkup and was told to exercise every day.
She drive to my nephew's office where we would pick the rest of the team up.
It was already dark when we started climbing, but no mosquitoes and se had a strategy. José and Rosa led the way at their pace while we followed them slowlier.
We paused more, drank more water and practiced deep breathing and stretching as we progressed.
My wife did way much better. She did not feel the tiredness or shortness of breath.
My niece was about to stop at some point, but she kept going and we all made it to the 1200-meter mark.
The view, again was fantastic! And the chat was so animated, we did not care much about how late and lonely it was.
If we can keep the discipline and go up several days a week, we will be ready to.go all the way to the top soon.
The important thing is that we are enjoying this experience very much.
