Hello everyone! Although this happens frequently, I just want to share a slice of life from someone trying to escape the corporate world this Thursday. Yes, I'm partially unemployed since I am still a student. However, I already finished all my courses, and now I only need to wait for graduation. It’s just unfortunate that I still have pending documents to fix from the company where I completed my OJT. Without further ado, here are the things I did this Thursday.

Church Time

This morning, I woke up early because we went to church as a family. I hate attending morning services since I’m not a morning person. Still, I had no choice because I can’t drive and don’t want to learn yet. I woke up at 5:30 a.m., even though I slept at 10:30 p.m. Imagine how little sleep I got, and it was not even seven hours.

Side Hustles

After we got home, I swept my bedroom floor and ate a light breakfast. After that, I opened my laptop to reply to comments on my latest blog. I also left comments on three blogs I read before moving to other tasks. When done, I visited my favorite website to check for available surveys. Sadly, there were none, and I hope new surveys appear later. I also uploaded a short post on the blogging platform about my plans for the day. By the way, I have a sticky note where I write all the unfamiliar terms and learn it.

Morning Planning

After finishing those tasks, I checked my Google Tasks for my pending work.

If you don’t know yet, I’m trying to grow my YouTube channel under the pop culture commentary niche. So far, I like how my recent video performed compared to my older ones. I’m now reaching my target audience, especially viewers from the United States. I also noticed that most viewers are male at ninety-five percent, while the rest are female. This video alone helped me reach ten percent of the monetization requirement. I also realized how many details I got wrong.

I also regained my consistency on my abandoned TikTok account. I’m not saying I never worked on it, but I had other priorities. When I got accepted at my part-time job, I slowly stopped posting. I was starting to come back during the year-end break, but that stopped when I got hired for my full-time job. I planned to return, but my phone broke. Now that I have a mid-range phone with better storage, stable income, and internet, this is the best time to stay consistent.

Writing YouTube Script

After two days of writing scripts using the compiled sources I gathered three days ago, I almost finished it. I can say “almost” because I know I can only complete everything by Saturday. I started crafting my content on November 27, and it is now December 11. That shows how long I’ve been narrating during my two to four hours of daily work except on Sundays. Keep in mind that I still need to proofread it, generate the voiceover using AI, and edit the video. I also need to upload it and write the caption, description, and subtitles.

TikTok Affiliate

After resting for one hour after lunch, I grabbed my iPad where I write and edit my scripts. I’m glad that I have an extra device for productivity that my uncle gave me a year ago. I also added two to three content ideas that came to mind and scheduled them. Since it was my filming day, I listed all the shots I needed based on the script shown in the photo. This helped me ensure that I captured every clip according to my plan.

Cancellation of My Night Duties

As usual, I expected that I would skip my duties after working on TikTok. I skipped my Just Dance workout, which I usually do after 4:30 p.m. I also skipped reading my grammar book for the fourth consecutive day. After taking a bath, I edited my two TikTok videos, hoping they would perform well. I’m not sure yet if my new approach will work.

For tomorrow, I’m sure I can finish editing the five raw videos I already filmed. Only one of them requires voiceover. I also have three fully edited videos that are scheduled for the next four working days. During that time, I can use the gap to write a new script or think of new ways to stand out. As long as I’m not rich yet, I won’t stop being consistent. That’s my motto and the reason I hustle.

Blogging

Even with everything I did today, I still managed to write this blog. The reason behind it is simple: I always journal after finishing tasks. That’s why it’s not surprising that I completed this even with a busy schedule. I promise myself that I will resume my night duties tomorrow since I have no videos to film. I just need to remember that I accomplished many things today, and failing to do some tasks is normal.
