While waiting for them, I decided to eat lunch with my cousin. I envy him since he successfully paid his tuition after waiting more than five hours. I arrived late (already 9:00 AM) in the Finance department and didn't want to waste my time queueing. Therefore, I decided to pay online instead to save time.
Can you believe that this meal is already ₱106.00 or $1.87? It looks cheap to others, but it is already expensive for me. I love their servings, but I think I would be broke if I spent my money to eat like this daily.
We waited for them in front of the campus while continuously asking where they were. Good thing that most of us arrived even though they were not in time. My two groupmates apologized that they couldn't participate much, and they told me that I should watch my words as I threatened them that I would scrap them as they didn't respond to my chat. I told them I wouldn't remove them and was threatening to hear their response.
Someone recommended we stay in an eatery, and sorry in advance if I forgot to picture it. We waited about a couple of minutes while discussing everything under the sun. I remember that I couldn't move at that time since the group members in our group were not balanced. I was so upset in the line-up since other groups had outstanding leaders and members, and I felt like I was the only one with the trait of being a leader.
After that, we proceeded to the place where we would interview. We rode using the tricycle of our elder classmates while the two girls were on the motorcycle. My elder classmates are good at finding sources, so I'm thankful they became part of my league.
This is where we interviewed the Kagawad (type of community member) of Barangay Sanchez. It is situated near the dam, which I don't know what it was. We had a shooting inside the Barangay Hall, located meters from the setting where we shot the image above. I'm the guy in all-black attire and tasked my cousin to capture it.
As you see below, this is the inside look of Barangay Hall of Brgy. Crisanto Sanchez. The outside appearance of the venue is green, while the hue of their wall on the inside is in the shade of pink. It seems presentable as we see that the hall is clean, but sorry to burst the bubble that the whole place needs to be upgraded. I wish that the upper position of the government would give them more funds to upgrade their hall. But I'm thankful that she wholeheartedly approached us for the interview.
I was so pleased since we were able to process the interview well. The inquiries on the questionnaire were well-prepared, and I thought about it properly before I proceeded to the school. No one could contain our happiness back then since she could answer all my questions. All the things we needed to create the paper were responded to. Since it needed to be documented, I requested my cousin (who wore a black cap) to film our documentation. Although I get sad about some of her answers about rape cases and her lack of educational support, I still learned a lot from the interview.
Before we went home, she asked us if we had already filled up the sheet for the educational assistance proposed by the governor. After I heard that word, I was surprised as we will be having ₱5,000 ($88.40) without making much effort. The requirement is not very strict because your Type Level and active cellphone number are the only qualifications. As usual, we didn't aim to lose that once-in-a-lifetime chance, so we decided to grab them. My cousin and I were already planning what we would do if we received that amount.
My classmate accompanied us again using his tricycle, and we went to where we could get educational assistance. The distance we traveled was longer than I expected, and I couldn't help asking my cousin where we were. I was curious about the path where we were, as I admit that we're not situated in San Jose.
We're now here in the place where we listed our names for that wonderful opportunity. The committee member we interviewed also told us that our application to UniFast was not affected by this help, as the possible money we can receive is just educational assistance and not a scholarship. That's why there's no conflict if I am chosen for the Unifast Scholarship. After that, we headed home, and I informed them that I would update them on our group chat.
