Hello guys. This is just an update about our CAS Day 2 three weeks ago. I had a lot of memorable experiences from that venture, so I hope you can check it out. Thank you!
Before I went home with my cousin from our tour in the main campus, my classmate invited us to stroll and eat lunch inside the SM Cabanatuan. Our last stroll in that mall was already six months ago, together with my relatives. But this time, I am with my classmates. Therefore, after hearing it from them, my mind screams with excitement. However, I became sad later when I realized I was obliged to spend money.
After a few minutes of traffic, we're finally here. My mother asked me a few questions about what happened in my day, and I told them that we would be going to SM Cabanatuan. Since I turned legal, I'm slowly getting my freedom to go far places without my parent's refusal. Maybe it's because of study-related stuff? Nonetheless, I'm still grateful.
We used the vehicle of my classmate/contender's father to drive us toward the mall. While we were on the ride, they discussed some topics about what happened on their trip to Araullo (the university we went to). They also discussed academics, but my cousin and I remained quiet unless they asked us something. Good thing that they will be my classmates again for the upcoming semester.
As usual, stolen images are taken again. I promised I would save a compilation of memories on my phone to create a blog whenever I became blank about what I would write. Guess what? My plan became successful. After the driver parked his vehicle, we walked toward the entrance using their supermarket. I am unfamiliar with why they made it since I'm not adventurous.
During that time, my cousin gossiped, and only two of us knew about their plan to use the escalator even though it's faster if you climb using the stairs. They also asked us where we'll be eating, and I told them we would go to Mang Inasal. I was already hungry then, and spending on food will not be a waste unless you don't need it. Practically, it is more costly to undergo medications because of diseases rather than spend money to eat a meal.
After arriving at the Mang Inasal, my cousin invited me to the public comfort room, and I took a selfie after peeing. It's not mandatory to take pictures like this, but doing this makes me a bit confident. I thought my classmate treated us to a meal, but we admitted we were disappointed with our assumptions. She's thoughtful that she reserved a seat for us which didn't make us feel like we were an outcast. Fortunately, I passed my social anxiety order through the cashier.
My cousin picked the regular meal with drinks while I selected the option like him, but our only difference is that I chose unlimited rice. Here is the photo of my meal worth ₱185.00. My classmates added some side dishes, but I was already contented with this meal because I had no choice. I was only silently eating and was not satisfied with the slow service of the rice distributor. As a big-brain individual, I let my cousin share those served rice to maximize that opportunity.
After we ate with satisfaction, I walked around the National Bookstore to do some window shopping. But, of course, I didn't fulfill my promise that I would not buy something, as I still bought sticky notes for blogging purposes. It added more to my expenses, but I pretended it didn't matter as I would use it productively. I spent ₱88.00 on it, I guess.
While my classmates enjoyed their moment, my cousin invited me to check different laptops and printers in the Cyberzone. Consequently, I feel anxious when different merchandisers offer us their products, although we're not interested. I was annoyed when they relentlessly called us "Sir" as it made me uncomfortable. I guess they were doing their job, which is a part of their marketing skills. Since we were only doing window shopping and couldn't afford those expensive products, we decided to leave that place.
Subsequently, my classmates called us, and we walked together until we reached this store. Most of the products here are overpriced, for sure. Someone wanted to buy clothes in this store, so I just waited for them to enjoy the view. While waiting, I took my selfies.
After that, we climbed the stairs, and my rich classmate bought a present for the contender. I used the term "contender" since she is our representative for the previous CAS Open Mic. Good thing she won, or else we will not get an exemption for the final exam in our minor subjects.
Those photos are one of the signs that Christmas is almost coming. In some countries, the theme of their Christmas is blue. While in SM, their primary theme is the shade of red. As you see, there's a huge display of figurines of Santa Claus and Christmas Elves, if I were not mistaken. You can also take photos with the gigantic Christmas tree to make your time a worthwhile experience. If you want, you may also stand together with your special loved ones on the theatre-like stage to build up good memories.
Even though it was only September, the Catholics had already displayed their Christmas decorations. In the time of Ber Months, it's inevitable to hear different Christmas songs from Jose Mari Chan, especially from the iconic singer Mariah Carey. I bet you know that is the song I was trying to say. I'm not Catholic, so I only captured these for remembrance. My two batchmates were taking photos for their stories while I was busy contacting my parents to answer their questions about when I would go home.
After the brief walk, we decided to go home while bringing a couple of memories. This blog was originally planned for Wednesday Walk, but I guess it would be more compatible if I published it here. Thank you for reading.
