Welcome to my blog!
Happy new week, everyone 😊
Last Sunday morning turned out to be more special than I expected. I was on my way to church when I saw a familiar face a woman from my area with her adorable baby girl. Her name is Precious, and honestly, she truly fits that name.
Since we already know each other, it was easy to greet and gist a little. And as someone who naturally loves children, I didn’t hesitate to carry Precious. She came to me so calmly, like we had met before. That alone made me smile.
Before entering the church, I brought out my phone and snapped a few pictures. She looked so cute and peaceful in my arms.
During the service, I sat with her on my lap. It felt so natural, like I was babysitting my own child. Then, just before the choir ministration, she gently fell asleep in my arms. That moment was so calm and beautiful. After some time, I returned her to her mother.
During the service, the atmosphere was calm and spiritually uplifting. The Reverend read from the book of 2 Timothy, teaching about the importance of supporting and helping workers in the body of Christ. It was a timely reminder that everyone has a role to play in God’s work, and that we should not neglect those who labor for the growth of the church.
After the reading, our Senior Reverend came forward for the pastoral greetings. He warmly welcomed everyone and encouraged us with a few heartfelt words. Shortly after, he invited the guest preacher to the stage, and the ministration continued in a powerful and inspiring way. The guest preacher he said he is from Dugulu in Obi LG of Nasarawa state and he is thankful to our Senior Rev. John Aku for the previllage given to him to come share the words of God. He further said he came together with his church secretary ERCC LCC Duglu church.
Now, the funny part 😂
Before all this, I was joking with my friends, Divine, Victor, Godiya and Grace telling them to come and meet “my first daughter.” The reactions were priceless! Some smiled, while others started teasing me, saying, “No be for tree dem de plough am o!” 🤓
I couldn’t stop laughing. It was all cruise, but it made the whole moment more fun. I even posted it on my WhatsApp status, and people really enjoyed it.
Moments like this remind me that joy doesn’t always come from big things sometimes it’s just in simple, genuine experiences like this. From holding a peaceful baby to receiving a meaningful message in church, everything about that Sunday felt complete.
Children carry a special kind of happiness, and spending that little time with Precious made my Sunday truly memorable. At the same time, the message from the book of 2 Timothy stayed with me, reminding me to always be available and supportive in God’s vineyard.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Wishing you all a joyful and blessed week ahead! 🙏✨
