Hi hive fam, I know it’s been minute since you’ve come across my post. Especially in this last month of the year. Work has been very stressful due to the festive season. Families abroad are sending money to their families in Africa to celebrate Christmas. Fresh students are making admission fee payments for the beginning of a new academic year in January to secure their admission and hostel accommodation. Nonetheless we survived the week like we always do.
As usual in the morning, I carried my breakfast to work or else I’d be late. Traffic isn’t really a problem in the northern part of Ghana unlike the capital town, Accra. But I still have to leave the house at 7am since I stay far from my work place. I got to work, took my breakfast and got my desk ready for work to begin.
After 12noon, the pressure had reduced a bit. I’m sure it’s because of how sunny it was. I know you all heard about how Africa is hot. called that she would pass by my work to say hello. She brought me pastries and coke. Pastries that she baked herself. She’s a good baker. We chat for a while. I convinced her to open a bank account with us so she could save money.
Minutes later my manager gave me an assignment to work on. had to take her leave to allow me concentrate on my manager’s assignment.
Another reason why I haven’t been active here was because of my masters degree application. The application required a lot of essay writing. About twenty-two essays with not less than 500 words. I wrote three each day from 3rd December after work.
Closed at 7:30pm , got home at 8pm , I ate supper and continued my application process. I fell asleep while writing one.
