During all the trips we made with my family in my cousin's truck, I always had to be a co-driver. The truth is that I like this place and I think I already have enough experience indicating the paths with the map, serving mate to the companions and also raising topics of conversation to avoid falling asleep. Despite the fact that this seems the most comfortable seat to me, after several hours sitting I think we all need to lower ourselves a bit to breathe and relax a bit, and for this purpose, any slightly nice place is welcome ❤️.
Durante todos los viajes que hicimos con mi familia en la camioneta de mi primo, siempre me tocó ser copiloto. La verdad es que este lugar me gusta y creo que ya tengo bastante experiencia indicando los caminos con el mapa, sirviendo mate a los acompañantes y también sacando temas de conversación para evitar dormirnos. A pesar de que este me parece el asiento más cómodo, después de varias horas sentados creo que todos necesitamos bajarnos un poco a respirar y descontracturarnos un poco, y para este fin, cualquier sitio un poco lindo es bienvenido ❤️.
When we set out on our last trip over winter break, we left around 9 AM. We usually leave home earlier to reach our destination even with sunlight, but my aunts, my cousin, and I decided that this walk would be a little more relaxed, so we didn't get up so early. My cousin doesn't like to be in a hurry on the road, so he takes all his time until we arrive: we all like this because we enjoy seeing beautiful landscapes while talking on the way 😃.
Cuando emprendimos nuestro último viaje en las vacaciones de invierno, salimos alrededor de las 9 AM. Generalmente salimos más temprano de casa para llegar a destino aún con luz del sol, pero mis tías, mi primo y yo decidimos que este paseo sería un poco más relajado así que no madrugamos tanto. A mi primo no le gusta andar apurado por la ruta, así que se toma todo su tiempo hasta que llegamos: esto nos gusta a todos porque disfrutamos de ver lindos paisajes mientras charlamos en el camino 😃.
After about six hours, in which we included some small stops for lunch and to go to the bathroom, we arrived at the city of Rosario in the province of Santa Fe. We made this first technical stop to take advantage of the sunlight. The sun was left and we were able to visit the Flag Monument and also the Flag Museum. We had traveled almost 400 km since we left, so we already wanted to get off a bit so we wouldn't be so cramped by the time we reached our main destination 😅.
Después de alrededor de unas seis horas, en las que incluímos algunas pequeñas paradas para almorzar e ir al baño, llegamos a la ciudad de Rosario en la provincia de Santa Fe. Esta primera parada técnica la hicimos para poder aprovechar un poco de la luz del sol que quedaba y pudimos visitar el Monumento a la Bandera y también el Museo de las Banderas. Habíamos recorrido casi 400 km desde que salímos, así que ya queríamos bajarnos un poco para no estar tan acalambrados para cuando llegaramos a destino 😅.
My cousin doesn't really like driving at night, so as soon as the sun began to go down, we resumed the path we were following. But before returning to the main route, we decided to make one last technical stop to visit the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Bridge: this bridge is a great civil engineering work that connects the provinces of Santa Fe and Entre Ríos by crossing over the Paraná River . This bridge is a very important connection between these two provinces and facilitates the trade and transportation of two large commercial centers such as the cities of Rosario and Victoria 😃.
A mi primo no le gusta mucho manejar de noche, así que apenas empezó a bajar el sol, retomamos el camino que estábamos siguiendo. Pero antes de regresar a la ruta principal, decidimos hacer una última parada técnica para vistar el Puente Nuestra Señora del Rosario: este puente es una gran obra de ingeniería civil que permite conectar las provincias de Santa Fe y Entre Ríos cruzando por encima del Río Paraná. Este puente es una conexión muy importante entre estas dos provincias y facilita el comercio y el transporte de dos grandes centros comerciales como lo son las ciudades de Rosario y Victoria 😃.
The city of Rosario where we were standing is a very important city in Santa Fe, almost like the city of Buenos Aires. It also has a fairly developed port area and in some areas they have taken advantage of the river to make some spas. This is the third time I have visited this city and all three times were in winter, so I never had a chance to be in this river without freezing. But from what we could see, a large part of the coast is exploited for this purpose, so it must attract quite a few visitors on hot days 😃.
La ciudad de Rosario en donde estábamos parados, es una ciudad muy importante de Santa Fe, casi como la ciudad de Buenos Aires. También tiene un área portuaria bastante desarrollada y en algunas zonas han aprovechado el río para hacer algunos balnearios. Esta es la tercera vez que visito esta ciudad y las tres veces fue en invierno, así que nunca tuve oportunidad de estar en este río sin congelarme. Pero por lo que pudimos ver, una gran parte de la costa está explotada para tal fin así que debe atraer a bastantes visitantes en los días de calor 😃.
I liked having made this impromptu stop, especially to take a look at the bridge because I didn't know it. My grandmother wanted us to cross it, but there was a stretch of 75 km to reach the next city and in the opposite direction to where we were going, so that will be a walk for another time. Meanwhile, I took the opportunity to stretch out a bit and study the path we still had to go, because despite the fact that we had traveled a long way, we were still quite far 😅.
Me gustó haber hecho esta parada improvisada, sobre todo para echarle un vistazo al puente porque no lo conocía. Mi abuela quería que lo cruzáramos, pero había un tramo de 75 km hasta llegar a la ciudad contigua y en dirección contraria a donde nos dirigíamos, así que ese será un paseo para otra ocasión. Mientras tanto, yo aproveché para elongar un poco y estudiar bien el camino que nos faltaba, porque a pesar de que ya habíamos recorrido mucho, todavía estábamos bastante lejos 😅.
