Hello Hive Fam! đź‘‹
I wasn’t able to write a blog yesterday because I had to travel to the National Capital Region. Yesterday was my scheduled visit again to Metro Manila for some important errands. This blog is just Part 1 of my trip, since I want to highlight what happened before leaving Pandi, Bulacan and after arriving at Starmall EDSA-Shaw in Mandaluyong. So here it goes…
My journey started at the Pandi P2P Bus Station. A few minutes after boarding, a young boy beggar handed me a white envelope asking for any amount so he could buy food or even biscuits.
I was touched by the words written on the envelope, so I placed ₱100 inside. The boy’s face lit up with happiness. I didn’t take a photo of him for privacy reasons, but I was glad to help in my own small way. Despite my own financial struggles, I always believe that it’s better to give than to receive. That simple act of kindness made my day brighter.
After that, I took a selfie inside the bus and captured the view outside the window, staring at the market nearby. The trip went smoothly, and soon I arrived at Trinoma Bus Terminal.
From Trinoma, I needed to walk about 20 minutes to reach the bus carousel station so I could ride toward Ortigas Bus Carousel Station. Along the way, I managed to snap photos of the famous Solaire Building and the road in front of it.
The bus stopped briefly at Philam Bus Carousel Station in EDSA, then continued until I reached Ortigas. Instead of booking a motorcycle taxi to Starmall, I decided to walk another 20 minutes. Walking is the best form of exercise, plus I saved ₱50–₱70.
While walking along EDSA, I took a few photos of the road. When I reached SM Megamall, I knew I was close to Starmall. I also captured a photo of a tall building beside SM Megamall, which I assume is owned by SM.
Finally, I arrived in front of Starmall EDSA-Shaw. I took some photos there and rested for about 10 minutes before continuing my journey.
This marks the first part of my trip to NCR. I’ll continue sharing the rest of my adventure in Part 2 of this blog. Thank you for your patience and understanding, Hive Fam, as I’m still feeling the tiredness from all the walking and commuting.
As I wrap up this post, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each of you who has taken the time to read, engage, and support my journey here on Hive. Your encouragement, comments, and presence mean more than words can fully capture. Writing and sharing ideas is rewarding in itself, but knowing that there are people out there who value and appreciate these efforts makes the experience truly special. Every upvote, every thoughtful response, and every quiet read is a reminder that this community thrives because of the kindness and support we give one another. I am deeply grateful for your continued support, and I look forward to growing, learning, and sharing more with you in the days ahead. Until my next post, thank you for reading and supporting my journey! 🙏💙
