Hello, Hive Friends! How's your day so far? I wish you good health as you read the continuation of my blog. As promised yesterday, I’m back with the second and final part of my blog. I’m excited to share the rest of my journey last Monday when I had to run several errands in Metro Manila. It was a long day filled with commuting, transactions, and little moments worth remembering. Let me take you along with me!
When I arrived at Starmall, the first thing I needed to do was find a restroom. I tried the free CR, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. With no other choice, I went to the pay-to-use restroom that cost ₱20. I even took a picture of the receipt to prove it really costs that much! Before leaving, I couldn’t resist taking a quick mirror selfie; because sometimes, even errands deserve a snapshot.
After freshening up, I needed to head to the PAG-IBIG Office to submit an important document related to my housing loan. Since I didn’t want to waste time, I rode a motorcycle taxi from Starmall to PAG-IBIG. The ride was quick but thrilling, weaving through Metro Manila traffic. Once I arrived, I completed my transaction smoothly, feeling relieved that one of my most important tasks was done.
From PAG-IBIG, I hopped on a jeepney going to Shangri-La. There’s something about jeepney rides that always feels uniquely Filipino; the mix of passengers, the sound of coins being passed to the driver, and the view of the bustling streets outside. It was a short ride, but it reminded me of how much I appreciate these everyday experiences.
At BPI Shangri-La EDSA Branch, I claimed my new debit cards. It felt good to finally have them in hand, knowing they would make my future transactions easier. With that done, I walked back towards EDSA to catch the bus carousel in Ortigas bound for Trinoma.
By the time I reached Trinoma, I was already feeling hungry, so I treated myself to a late lunch at the food court. Sitting down with my meal gave me a chance to recharge and reflect on how much I had already accomplished that day.
After eating, I went to the Trinoma P2P Bus Terminal for my ride back to Bulacan. The bus ride was long, but it gave me time to relax after all the walking and commuting. Finally, I arrived in Pandi, Bulacan; tired, yes, but also fulfilled. I had managed to finish all my errands in one day, and that sense of accomplishment made the exhaustion worth it.
That wraps up my Metro Manila adventure! It was a day full of errands, selfies, motorcycle rides, jeepney trips, and bus transfers. Even though it was tiring, I’m glad I managed to finish everything I needed to do. Thank you, Hive Friends, for following along with my little journey. Your support keeps me motivated to share more of my everyday experiences. Until next time—stay safe, keep hustling, and don’t forget to enjoy the small moments along the way.
