How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, 
Today turned out to be one of those simple yet happy days that made me appreciate the little things in life. My husband came home from work around lunchtime, and before he arrived, I asked him to buy some sushi platter from my sister-in-law because I have been craving their sushi for days already. Their sushi business is only a sideline, but honestly, I really love their homemade sushi because it always tastes fresh and delicious. I also feel happy whenever I get to support their small business in my own little way.
When my husband arrived, we immediately opened the sushi platter and shared it together with the family for our lunch. I ordered a mixed-flavor platter so we could try different kinds, and every single piece tasted so good. Some were creamy, some had a slightly spicy flavor, while others were rich and savory. It was such a satisfying meal, and even the presentation looked beautiful and appetizing.
In the afternoon, another thing made me excited because my parcel finally arrived. I ordered a pair of pump sandals from Crocs online. I decided to buy online because I was able to use vouchers and discounts, making it much cheaper compare to buying in stores. I have always like comfortable pump sandals, and the moment I saw this design and color on their page, I instantly fell in love with it. Seeing the actual item made me even happier because it looked exactly as nice as I expected.
After some time, I also remembered to take my vitamins for the day. I have been trying to stay consistent with taking care of my health and boosting my immune system, especially with how busy daily life can get.
By dinner time, my cousin invited us over to their house for a small gathering. Of course, we happily went because family get-togethers always feel warm and comforting. They prepared many delicious foods, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was truly a simple but meaningful day filled with food, family, and happiness.
