Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Les cuento que oficialmente soy parte de la Sociedad Venezolana de Medicina Interna! 😅🤭
Todo comenzó hace dos años cuando la sociedad fue a hacer unas diligencias en la ciudad de Cumaná.
Fue un Viernes, en el que me tocó amenizar musicalmente el ambiente en Hola Supercenter. Mi tía Mariflor Vera, la presidenta de la sociedad, al enterarse que yo tenía esa presentación, quiso asistir! Se escapó del hotel en el que se estaba quedando junto con dos de sus compañeros, y pasaron la noche acompañándome a mi y a mi mamá en esa linda noche musical.
A ellos les gustó tanto mi trabajo que querían que los acompañara en el almuerzo que tenían el día siguiente, pero por la falta de tiempo y de planificación no se pudo concretar nada... Sin embargo, yo fui de sorpresa y les toqué unas cuantas canciones, lo cual les encantó!
Ya luego pasó todo el cuento de la leucemia, y uno de los doctores que había acompañado a mi tía a mi presentación, recordó aquella noche, y fue quien nos aconsejó venir a Caracas y quien estuvo pendiente de que todo saliera bien. 🙏🏼
Gracias a Dios así fue, y ahora los pude acompañar en su último congreso del período 2023-2025! Y fue tan sorpresivo como la última vez jejeje.
No habíamos planificado nada, pero mi mamá quería que le cantara una canción a mi tía después de que la reeligieran como presidenta, así que le escribió a ese mismo doctor, y ya faltando segundos para que eso sucediera, fue que él se nos acercó y nos dió el visto bueno.
Así que rapidito busqué un karaoke, y le dediqué a mi tía Mariflor "Hymne a L'Amour" de Edith Piaf.
El sábado nos invitó la doctora que me atendió en la hospitalización a ver una ponencia de la cual ella estaba a cargo, y al final de la tarde también terminé cantando jejeje. Y DOS VECES!
Primero cuando fuimos a almorzar, nos encontramos con otro doctor que jugó un papel importante en mi proceso de sanación desde lejos. Él me pidió que le cantara una canción, y con gusto lo hice. Le canté Someome Like You de Adele. Quedó muy contento!
Y más tarde al finalizar el acto de clausura, mi tía me pidió que cantara Héroe de Mariah Carey a toda la sociedad. A pesar de que me puse muy nerviosa porque es una canción muy difícil y no la había practicado, con un empujón de mi mamá, accedí a hacerlo.
Y todos se emocionaron mucho! Me alegra mucho haber causado esa sentimiento de alegría en el corazón de todos esos doctores, que se lo merecen!

Hello, dear Hivers!
I'm officially part of the Venezuelan Society of Internal Medicine!
It all started two years ago when the society went to run some errands in the city of Cumaná.
It was a Friday, and I was assigned to provide the music at the Hola Supercenter. My aunt Mariflor Vera, the president of the society, found out I had the presentation and wanted to attend! She ran away from the hotel where she was staying with two of her colleagues, and they spent the night with me and my mom for that wonderful musical evening.
They liked my work so much that they wanted me to join them for lunch the next day, but due to lack of time and planning, nothing could be finalized... However, I went as a surprise and played a few songs for them, which they loved!
Then the whole leukemia story happened, and one of the doctors who had accompanied my aunt to my presentation remembered that night, and he was the one who advised us to come to Caracas and who made sure everything went well. 🙏🏼
Thank God it happened, and now I was able to accompany them to their last congress of the 2023-2025 term! And it was just as surprising as the last time, hahaha.
We hadn't planned anything, but my mom wanted me to sing a song for my aunt after she was reelected president, so she wrote to that same doctor, and just seconds before it was supposed to happen, he approached us and gave us the go-ahead.
So I quickly found a karaoke bar and dedicated Edith Piaf's "Hymne a L'Amour" to my aunt Mafiflor.
On Saturday, the doctor who treated me in the hospital invited us to see a presentation she was in charge of, and at the end of the afternoon, I also ended up singing, hahaha. And TWICE!
First, when we went to lunch, we met another doctor who played an important role in my healing process from afar, and he asked me to sing him a song, and I gladly did. I sang "Someone Like You" by Adele. He was very happy!
And later, at the end of the closing ceremony, my aunt asked me to sing "Hero" by Mariah Carey to the entire audience. Even though I was very nervous because it's a very difficult song and I hadn't practiced it, with a little push from my mom, I agreed.
And everyone was very moved! I'm so happy to have brought that feeling of joy to the hearts of all those doctors, who deserve it!
