Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Este Domingo de resurrección tuve el placer de cantarle al Cristo resucitado!
Y aunque no fue la misa principal, fue muy lindo igual. Es como el director del coro dice: Diosito nos permitió honrarlo con nuestras voces!
El día anterior, Sabado de Gloria, mi mamá y yo fuimos a la vigilia de las 8pm, y fue un noche hermosa.
Después de bendecir el fuego, comenzó la vigilia, y terminó a eso de las 11pm. Entre esas horas también se bendijo el agua.
Esa noche la vigilia la cantó otro coro de la iglesia, e hicieron un trabajo maravilloso! Me hicieron recordar lo mágica y especial que es la música. De verdad me encantó su trabajo. Aplausos de pie!
Dejando eso de lado, debo decir que mi parte favorita fue cuando se encendieron las luces de la iglesia y entró la imagen de Cristo Resucitado!
Fue un momento muy emotivo, muy especial! Habían globos, felicidad, un sentimiento de felicidad y paz indescriptible, y mucha fé!
Me gustó mucho ir a esa misa. 🙏🏼
Ya el Domingo a las 5pm, nos tocó a mi y al coro al que pertenezco, "Ecalisja", honrar a nuestro amado Jesús con nuestro canto.
Primero ensayamos un poco de 2pm a 4:30pm, y luego entramos al templo.
Cantamos piezas como el Hallelujah de Haendel, el Gloria kv 194 de Mozart, el Alleluia de Boyce, entre otras.
Fue una misa muy linda, muy tranquila, y también llena de fé y felicidad!
Para mí ha sido todo un honor poder participar en estas misas importantes, como lo fueron esta, y la del viernes santo. Y también tuve la oportunidad de cumplir un poco más con el señor y las tradiciones de la semana santa, algo que no había hecho desde hace mucho tiempo.

This Easter Sunday I had the pleasure of singing to the Risen Christ!
And although it wasn't the main Mass, it was still very beautiful. It's like the choir director says: God allowed us to honor Him with our voices!
The day before, Holy Saturday, my mom and I went to the 8 p.m. vigil, and it was a beautiful night.
After blessing the fire, the vigil began and ended around 11 p.m. During those hours, the water was also blessed.
That night, the vigil was sung by another church choir, and they did a wonderful job! They reminded me how magical and special music is. I truly loved their work. Standing ovation!
That aside, I must say my favorite part was when the church lights came on and the image of the Risen Christ entered!
It was a very emotional, very special moment! There were balloons, happiness, an indescribable feeling of happiness and peace, and so much faith!
I really enjoyed going to that Mass. 🙏🏼
On Sunday at 5 pm, it was my turn, along with the choir I belong to, "Ecalisja," to honor our beloved Jesus with our singing.
First, we rehearsed a little from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, and then we entered the church.
We sang pieces like Handel's Hallelujah, Mozart's Gloria, Kv. 194, Boyce's Alleluia, among others.
It was a beautiful Mass, very peaceful, and also full of faith and happiness!
It has been an honor for me to be able to participate in important Masses, such as this one and the one on Good Friday. And I also had the opportunity to celebrate a little more with the Lord and the traditions of Holy Week, something I hadn't done in a long time.
