Yesterday, I went out here in my city to look for things I needed for dinner, such as spices, something for lunch, and bread. I went out with my husband to see what we could find, but it was a bit difficult because it was a non-working day and almost everything was closed. However, we made an effort because we really needed it.
I'll tell you that after walking halfway across town, we found a few things here and there, but at least we found what we were looking for. And just as we were coming back, something caught my attention. At the end of the block, right on the corner, is the San Rosendo Cathedral, a cathedral with beautiful architecture that follows the doctrines of the Catholic Church in Cuba.
I had never had the experience of entering a place like this, because I always pass by and never felt curious enough to go in. But on this day, the doors were open to the public, and it was as if they were calling me. Curiosity flooded my veins, and I decided to go in. My husband didn't want to, because he's a bit shy, but I always say that if you don't ask, you don't get, ha ha ha, so I went first to ask if we could go in.
The person in charge at the door said yes, but told us not to take too long because they were about to close. What can I say? From the moment I entered, I was amazed. I had never seen so much beauty in one place. It's wonderful to enter a place like that. There was no one there worshipping, so I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the pulpit and look around carefully, because it was really worth it.
We didn't stay there long. We left right away because they were about to close. But just a few moments were enough to have a new and unexpected experience. I always passed by there and never had the urge to go in, but this time my curiosity got the better of me, ha ha ha.
Leaving there, we headed back home, as household chores awaited me, but I am very happy to have had this experience, as it was wonderful. The cathedral has an important structure in the middle of the city, and yet I had never been curious to visit a place like that, but well, there's always a first time for everything. Resulta que ayer salí la calle, aquí en mi ciudad en busca de cosas que necesitaba para el hogar para hacer la cena, como especias, algo de plato fuerte para los almuerzos y pan, en este día salí con mi esposo a hacer estas vueltas para ver qué conseguíamos, era un día un poco difícil para buscar, pues era un día no laborable y casi todo estaba cerrado, pero hicimos nuestro esfuerzo porque en realidad lo necesitábamos.
Les cuento que después de caminar media ciudad encontramos alguna cosita por aquí y otra por allá, pero al menos encontramos lo que buscábamos, y ya casi cuando veníamos de regreso, algo llamo mi atención, al finalizar la cuadra, llegando justo a la esquina, se encuentra la catedral "San Rosendo", esta es una catedral de una arquitectura hermosa y que se rige por las doctrinas de la iglesia católica en cuba.
Nunca había tenido la experiencia de entrar en un lugar como este, pues siempre paso para allá y para acá y nunca me había dado la curiosidad de entrar, Pero en este día las puertas estaban abiertas al público y era como si me llamasen, la curiosidad inundó mis venas y me dispuse a entrar, mi esposo no quería, pues él es medio penoso, pero yo siempre digo que niño que no llora no mama teta ja, ja, ja, así que como la primera fue a preguntar a ver si se podía entrar.
La encargada de la puerta nos dijo que sí, pero que no nos demoráramos que ya casi iba a cerrar, que les puedo decir, desde que entre me quedé sorprendida, nunca había visto tanta belleza en un solo lugar, es algo hermoso entrar a un lugar de esos, ya no había nadie allí haciendo culto, así que aproveche para tomar unas instantáneas del púlpito, y observar detenidamente el lugar, pues la verdad lo ameritaba.
No estuvimos mucho tiempo allí, enseguida nos fuimos porque ya iban a cerrar, Pero solo unos instantes bastaron para tener una experiencia nueva y sin esperarlo además, pues siempre pasaba por allí y nunca había tenido el pálpito de entrar, pero está vez la curiosidad fue más fuerte que yo ja, ja, ja.
Saliendo de allí fuimos de regreso para la casa, pues los quehaceres del hogar esperaban por mí, pero me alegra mucho haber vivido está experiencia, pues fue algo maravilloso, la catedral por su parte tiene una estructura importante en medio de la ciudad, y, sin embargo, nunca me había dado la curiosidad de conocer un lugar como ese, pero bueno para todo siempre hay una primera vez.
