Today, we spent our time at my parents' house while they attended a wedding far away.
Since they would be gone for a day, someone had to take care of the animals they had left, such as the pigs, chickens, and dogs.
These are our little memories...
A different kind of atmosphere yet an ordinary day filled with little moments.

Outdoors
Our day started outdoors. The kids found their way to play. Aiden and Ryzen brought their toy car and bike. In my parents' place, it's quite sandy... So Ryzen is dealing with it. Lol. He wasn't really used to it, so every time the sand slipped into his slippers, he would stop, take them off, and shake them out to keep his slippers sand-free. 😅

Leftover Pork Adobo + Banana
For our breakfast, we just reheated the leftover pork adobo from last night. To balance it, I paired it with a banana. Do you also eat bananas this way? It might sound unusual to some, but I actually enjoy eating bananas together with rice and a salty dish. Its sweetness blends nicely with the adobo.

Salmon Belly
By lunchtime, we had cooked what my mom had asked us to prepare. It's the salmon belly. We turn it into a sinigang... a well-loved Filipino soup known for its sour and savory flavor. Its sourness paired perfectly with the fatty salmon belly, making the meal satisfying. I will share the recipe soon because it's definitely worth sharing. ☺️

Ryzen Loves Chocolate
In the afternoon, Ryzen ate a chocolate cake. And when he smiled, it was stuck right on his teeth. 🤣 I couldn't help but laugh, especially since Ryzen was completely unaware. Moments like this are too good to miss, so it had to be documented. And here it is! 😅

And that's it!
It was just another ordinary day spent at my parents' house...
Simple, a little messy, yet filled with moments that make everyday life feel special.
Until my next everyday snapshots...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
