Hello hive welcome 🤗 to my blog
The anticipation is over today, the 1st of October we have been training and waiting for is over today!! Today i took my athletes kiddies to be precise to a tournament called Aimaan under 18 championship Tae-kwon-do competition which held at teslim balogun stadium surulere Lagos state Nigeria.
Our journey started this morning exactly 4:30am because it is 2hours 30mins to the stadium we are going, moreso we have to be there as early as 6am so they will be able to weigh-in and failure to so it's automatically disqualified. To cut the long Story shot we get to the stadium exactly 8am but then we were considered and we were able to weigh-in. At this time we met the competition going on already, school competition has already began but we want to register for club so that is after school competition.
Ho i forgot to say that I'm extremely tired because i could not sleep throughout yesterday because i went for a party.
I only registered for two athletes and our club name is team dynamics, after the weigh-in i had to buy snacks for my athletes because they are so hungry.
The school competition is still on going but then we have to wait while i use that to train my own athletes so they will be ready for the competition.
Less i forget i need to talk about some challenges i faced when we got there, one of my athletes doesn't have uniform 🥋 in which someone already promised to bring it at the stadium for purchase and some other equipments he failed to bring them which makes me so frustrated and had to send someone before i got my equipment and uniform 🥋.
After waiting for so many hours they called upon my athletes to come and fight, I had to give them alot of moral because this is their first fight ever and they are to meet different kinds of people on the mat so i quickly dressed for them and make them ready to go and compete.
My first athlete loose his fight because he met with someone that is more experience than him but then my second athlete enter and he did wonderfully well by defeating all his opponent..
This makes me so happy because we have been waiting and training for this day to come. After all the fight we were presented medal 🏅 and a certificate and some other gifts mean while their parents were so proud of their kids❤️
The other kid that loose wasn't happy but i let him understand that he his already a winner because it's not easy to step on that mat and stay to fight, moreso his just recovering from maleria so all this makes him loose his fight.
Since the happiness 😊 of a coach is to see his students wining, i must say I'm so very happy today, after everything we took some pictures and went straight back home but then we were extremely tired 😴 and worn-out
