Hello hive family!
Today I am going to take you on a walk with me to the San Juan convention center in Puerto Rico.
If you haven’t read my previous post then you need to cos there’s a lot you’re missing out on.
This event took place on my second day in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Due to the stress from the previous day I had a long night. I didn’t wake up on time and by the time I was up everyone was already up and dressed.
I was confused cos I didn’t know what was happening. It was then one of my team mates told me they had planned to visit the Puerto Rico convention centre since it was a free day for us and that was where our competition was going to be held.
I quickly got out of bed to get ready cos I didn’t want to be left behind and miss all the fun.
I was having a bad morning cos I was having severe headache and cold.
I think it’s because of the AC in the hostel. I don’t really like too much of cold air.
Within the next hour I was ready and we left the hostel. We took a couple of pictures too.
From what I was told , it was a 10 minutes walk but guess what?
We walked for close to an hour.😂😂💔
But it was all fun since we got to see the places around and all of that. We took a lot of pictures at the slightest opportunity we had cos we needed them to serve as memories.
After walking for over the so called ‘10 minutes’ we finally saw the convention center from afar. The view was breathtaking.
I don’t know what happened but everyone got some sort of energy and stopped complaining that they were exhausted.
We got closer to the place and took a couple of pictures. We got group pictures too:)
After all of the picture taking we then proceed to the t-mobile district which was an open place opposite the convention center.
It was Halloween then so they had all those scary skeletons and others around.The place was actually simple and nice.
We looked around and took a couple of pictures because Halloween is not celebrated in our country lol.
At this point we were all exhausted and famished because we had been walking all day on empty stomachs.
We decided to go home and prepare something to eat cos it was around 2pm.
We ordered and Uber and got home within a few minutes.
In the evening, I went to grab some food with a friend since we didn’t really have anything to do that night.
I wanted a quiet place but it seems luck was not on my side as all the restaurants were over crowded.
We finally got to subway and the place was a bit deserted so we settled for that.
We ordered a sandwich and some juice. I opted for lime juice but it tasted horrible:(
I guess my quest to try new things went wrong.lol.
We finished our meal and headed home.
On our way back we stopped at Marshall’s to get some stuff.
We arrived at the hostel around 9:30pm. I settled down and went to bed. I think I had enough fun for the day.😅
