We slept in today. Almost until 0900. This day will go quickly.
“Beware of Words Born of Psychology.” Me. You would be surprised how many words that we use daily were kidnapped by psychologists and used against us humans. You already know that we don’t trust the “science,” because it is not a science. Science is knowing. Psychology is guessing. Educated guessing – but guessing nonetheless. It may be for you. And It might help. But it’s not for your boy.
Did I ever tell you guys how the word “Lifestyle” was forged? Psychology. Look it up.
Of Dogs and Men
Has anyone from the middle of the last century noticed that the voices of dogs and men have become higher pitched? There’s a dog in the complex that has this high-pitched annoying squeak of a bark. But We have also noticed that a lot of males have higher-pitched female-like voices.
So… from what we have heard … American and perhaps European males are testosterone deficient, so maybe that’s one answer. As for the dogs – these little bitches are genetically modified – [or so We’ve heard.]
The Cult of Language
There is a Cult of Language forming. I am only noticing it because I am absorbing Substack essays. There’s a lot of “memory” – They will tell you “It’s not [insert what it’s not] – “it’s memory.” Everything is memory in this cult. [I am being a typical smart-ass calling this a cult.] It’s like that era when all of the Bad Boy artists used the same (or similar) rhymes and that James Brown sample. It doesn’t bother Us. We just noticed. We notice patterns.
WOW! Right after typing the paragraph about “memory” an MPH lecture shows up. The topic? “Memory.” Everyday magic.
Speaking of “Cult of Language” there is a “Cult of Ex-Cult-member-whistle-blowers” out here capitalizing on how they got duped into joining a cult and – usually “New Age” or “Self Help – and now they have this valuable information that is going to – I don’t know – “save the world?” Or at the very least save you from getting caught up in whichever one is tugging at your trauma. [By the way “The age of guru is over.” Substack Post.] I have read and or listened to dozens of these testimonials and they all read the same way. [Like NDE stories do.] I have not had the foresight to make a list of the similarities – But here’s the most common commonality – “I’m too smart to be in a cult.”
Here’s another one - “I didn’t realize it until it was too late.”
Number three – “A friend told me I might be in a cult.” (Go back to number one.)
The easiest mark is someone who thinks they are too smart to be targeted. I personally know humans like this. It’s very frustrating to listen to them fall back on their education and how “smart” they are. Easy targets because being considered and-or acknowledged as “intelligent” is the tell – it’s the trap. What’s the bait? – heightening that intelligence. It works as well as ‘divide and conquer.’
What many of these stories lack is the path that led them to the group. Until it is revealed as a “cult” it’s just a club. [Fight Club.] A social organization.

There are some very poignant similarities between “victims” [the sociologists and healers don’t like to use that word] – of cults and those who have survived narcissistic relationships. Cult leaders are often Narcissists. I have been asking the author of a particular article about narcissists and “survivors” – [there’s no specific name for those who are drawn in by narcissists before they become victims of survivors, but it would be interesting to know if there’s a certain type] – There is. Guess what!! I looked it up via AI and ended up in a small rabbit hole which confirmed several of my suspicions.
Also guess what – there are Seven identifying “traits” of human experience that are drawn to Narcissists. [Note – just going to list them. Do your own research.]

I did mention a certain visit to a certain hole. We asked what word Narcissist replaced and when and why it was replaced. Plus we asked some other questions as well. It would be too easy and too boring just to cut and paste out interview – or “Deep Dive” into the intricacies of how stuff like Narcissism is identified and diagnosed, let alone treated. Narcissists don’t seem to be “damaged.” However, it would be just like a Narcissist not to admit that {they’s] damaged. If they could do that, they wouldn’t be a Narcissist.
Catch-22.
Mind thinks of Narcissism as a predominantly male “pathology” – notwithstanding that I have known several female Narcissists. The female ego operates differently than the male ego. Different priorities. [A piece on this is lost in the ‘not-ready-for-prime-time file, which will show up eventually.] There haven’t been very many humans who have noticed or “exposed” this, but there’s a certain level of Narcissism in the “Empath” type. Especially the self-styled empath. They are going to enhance someone else’s life, but they are doing it for their own ego. I have seen and experienced these dances first hand. No diagnoses made – of course. But psychology doesn’t really diagnose anything either. If you display 5 out of 9 agreed upon behaviors – that’s it baby – you are a Narcissist.
It’s really like anybody “could” be a “murderer.” But they are not – right up until the time they murder someone.
Anyway – you can imagine how deep this gets – especially if you have never been a victim of a Narcissist. That’s when the story gets all too real. And even deeper, because it’s the “damaged” one that gets to tell the story.
