Today was – or seemed – very long. We talked to a neighbor about time and numbers as we headed out to take advantage of retail-thrift store discounts. The magical Ox Brand Sriracha, hidden behind the new stock, was marked down. I purchased both of the remaining bottles. We had been using the sriracha liberally. We had previously revealed a tepid [eh?] taste for the spicy sauce, but now we seem to squirt it on every meal.
Baggy cargo pants are returning to the racks I am happy to report. Got my first pair at age sixteen from one of those kind of stores that sold black lights, black light posters, lava lamps, incense and stuff you just couldn’t get anywhere else before Spencer Gifts showed up in every mall. I miss those days. It feels like they are coming back and I am going to be ready. I will happily furnish my living space in my seventies, from the seventies.

This series is called “Transmissions from Universe” because often I will sit down with an idea in Mind, and Universe takes over. The result is literally something I had not expected. Here is today’s offering.
Universe Speaks
There are stories about devotees to a higher being who – due to their loyalty and love for such beings came to expect protection from same against the perils of the physical world. This is sometimes known as the “Voice of God;” Of “Brahma” or the “Voice of Wisdom.” We have two very memorable stories. (Which we will not be sharing here.) One is about a traveler who gets trampled by an elephant, the other is about a minister who drowns in a flood. In each case – do to what turns out to be a narrow band of understanding – the doomed devotee failed to recognize the “voice” of their god – or as We would describe it – “Signals from Universe.”
Yesterday, Universe sent a lot of “signals.” One of which was very impactful and aligning. A figure on the screen was describing what he called “Language Parasites.” He went on to explain how the word-image connection not only limits, but stifles our corporeal experience. I found the Self resisting the vibrations the images generated. Mind was agreeing with the message, however the counter-Mind argued that “naming” familiar elements in our environment creates comfort and security. Imagine waking up every morning to find that you couldn’t recall the words to describe the “stuff” in your space. You would likely be too terrified to get out of your whatchamacallit.
Being a “words enthusiast” and a “believer” We recognized this as a signal from Universe. What did it tell us?
That we are not alone in the way we consider words [sonic emissions of the mouth], language and our “common reality.”
I will never forget the first time I stepped into a bathroom stall and there was no toilet. Just basically a hole in the floor with a hose and a spray nozzle. I was in Malaysia, or Thailand. It wasn’t even a WTF moment. It was more like being stunned and wondering if I could manage the maneuver. The next stall over had a “proper” commode.
As far as We [The Collective] are concerned – the “Psyche” is an “option.” “It” may or may not exist. There was a time when I didn’t know the word “psyche” existed. My introduction to it was by way of the word “psychedelic” which I thought meant something like a “colorful abstract art.” I would make shapes over shapes and color in the spaces with every one of the crayons in the box of 24 colors.
My next experience with psyche – as I recall – came in the form of kid-speak. Like, “I’m gonna share my candy.” “Sike!” [Basically meaning … in the hood … that I am building your expectations only to let – or in some cases “shoot you down.”
“She said she wants to dance with you. Sike your mind!
When did I make the connection between “sike” and “psyche?” Who knows?
Eventually as this thing called the World Wide Web, or “Inter Net” grew, We started investigating many, and in due course most of the words we used so cavalierly in our lackadaisical speech. When we investigated “psyche” this is when we decided that it’s an “option.”
Here’s what we found. [Etymonline]
1640s, “animating spirit, the human spirit or mind,” from Latin psyche, from Greek psykhē “the soul, mind, spirit; life, one’s life, the invisible animating principle or entity which occupies and directs the physical body; understanding, the mind (as the seat of thought), faculty of reason,” also “ghost, spirit of a dead person;” probably akin to psykhein “to blow, breathe,” also “to cool, to make dry.”
The words used to describe an “invisible force” [my words] almost always return to “breath.” Ghost. Prana. Mind. It’s another way of describing a “life force.” Ani – as in “animate,” means life.

These are sometimes traced to a Proto Indo-European root *bhes- “to blow, to breathe” (source also of Sanskrit bhas-), “Probably imitative” [Watkins].
Beekes finds this tempting but not convincing and doubts the existence of the PIE verb based on scant evidence.
Above we have these two cats debating on what its origins are. To breathe or not to breathe?
But here’s my favorite. The Greeks have this practice of “personifying” the “mist.” “Per-son” means by way of sound, and describes a mask worn by actors. Perhaps the Greeks, by way of demonstration and observation created a physical version of the force for educational and entertainment purposes.
Back to etymology.
Personified by the Greeks as Psykhē, the beloved of Eros, often represented as a fair young girl; the butterfly was her symbol. Also in ancient Greek, “departed soul, spirit, ghost,” seen as a winged creature and often represented symbolically as a butterfly or moth.
The word had extensive sense development in Platonic philosophy and Jewish-influenced theological writing of St. Paul (compare spirit (n.)). Thus in Biblical use the Greek word was “the soul as the seat of feelings, desires, affections, etc.,” also “the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life,” and “the soul as an essence which differs from the body and is not dissolved by death.” In English, the meaning “human soul” is from 1650s; the psychological sense of “mind” is attested by 1910.
In the Jewish-Alexandrine Pauline, and Neo-Platonist psychology, the psyche is in general treated as the animating principle in close relation to the body, whereas the pneuma (as representing the divine breath breathed into man), the nous, and the Logos (q.v.) stand for higher entities. They are the more universal, the more divine, the ethically purer. By this more explicit separation of the intellectual and ethical activities from the physiological the conception of the mental or psychical (in the modern sense) was at length reached.

You can see [or at least We can see] by tracing the etymology how the “think” called “psyche” was conjured up and developed into what it has become today. Not in the word itself, but everything from “psychopath” to “psychoactive” to “psychotropic drugs” and the [agreed] meanings those sounds have in our “shared reality.”
We can see how the word which was originally crafted to describe a, or thee life force, was turned into a verb as recently as the early part of the last century! By the middle of the 20th Century it became a term of deception. And don’t even start with Mind Kontrol elements of it.

by 1914 as “to subject to psychoanalysis,” short for psychoanalyze.
From 1934 as “to outsmart” (also psych out), and by 1952 in bridge as “make a bid meant to deceive an opponent.”
From 1963 as “to unnerve.”
However to psych (oneself) up is from 1972; to be psyched up “stimulate (oneself), prepare mentally for a special effort” is attested from 1968.
This takes us back to dude in the video and how we are “trapped” [maybe he didn’t use that word] by Language Parasites.
Your humble vagabond is not a fan of psychiatry, as you can maybe deduce, although I find “psychology” fascinating. Although the study is more of an exploration of human behavior and the forces that affect our vessels than some sinister hocus-pocus.
We can see … [or at least study] … how the original concept became something that could be controlled, “balanced” and manipulated by introducing chemicals into the vessel.
In Our “simulation” the “psyche” – as it is described in the human lexicon – does not exist. It’s not something that can be affected by chemicals, passing electricity through the vessel or removing parts of the brain. We will make it a point, maybe a challenge to eliminate the word and thus the idea from our vocabulary. Perhaps a further, or better challenge would be to put that djinn back into its bottle for a while. At least – we expect – that this will unburden Mind as we generate abundance in Abundance Year.

This aligns with our “Tri-World Order” scenario. This scenario does not only see the “CRU” [China, Russia, US] as allies, but also the EU isolated, particularly as a “block.” Individual nations might break off and start negotiating on their own.

Putin responding. just now, to a question from a reporter on why Russia and the US have excluded the EU from Ukraine peace talks (my translation):
“They had this fantasy about imposing a strategic defeat on Russia and all these talking points [EU officials] keep repeating show some of them are still stuck in these illusions. Even though they know, they absolutely know, that ship sailed ages ago and was never realistic in the first place. They just convinced themselves it was true because they wanted to believe it. And now they can’t bring themselves to admit they were wrong. They’ve basically taken themselves out of the whole process. That’s the first thing.
“Second. They look at the situation today, don’t like what they see, and instead of being helpful, they’ve started getting in the way of the current US administration and President Trump, who’s trying to reach a peace deal through negotiations. They walked away from talks themselves, and now they’re blocking Trump too.
“Third. They don’t have a peace plan at all. They’re openly backing war. And even when they pretend they’re proposing “adjustments” to Trump’s plan, it’s obvious what they’re doing: every one of those changes is meant to kill the peace process entirely. They set conditions that they know Russia could never accept, and then the plan is to blame Russia later for the collapse. That’s the whole game. And we see it clearly. “So if they want to come back down to earth and deal with reality as it is on the ground, they’re welcome to [join the process].”

One might never think of words as a control mechanism unless you have listened to some of these jokers that tell you that a “dock” is the same thing as a “doc” as in short for “doctor.” [Shhh, don’t tell, but there is a connection.] Eddie Bernays didn’t invent propaganda - that word came from the “Church” (which means “circle”.) LOL. Eddie just changed the term to “public relations.” The protocol was the same and served the same function but it was a kinder & gentler and “inclusive” term — because it had the “public” in mind, [awww] as they were picking your pockets with a “Colgate (with Fluoride) smile.”
We did a piece in the show about how “They” [The Greeks] made up this word, and let in loose on the world. It was probably forgotten until the 1640s until it was resurrected. New life was “breathed” into it and it has since become a monster. It’s like that Mom & Pop corner shop that became the mega mart. No more Mom. No more Pop. Just AI targeting your “psyche” with dynamic pricing and picking your digital wallet before you can experience “cognitive dissonance” about your purchase. How very convenient.
